Training

It was a clear sunny day. The tree's swayed in the breeze, The birds and the other wildlife were minding their own business when they were startled by a scream that echoed through the forest. 

At one spot of the forest, Lucy and Ryuu were trying to land a hit on each other. Lucy tried to land a swift kick to Ryuu's side but was stopped when he grabbed her leg making lucy sway a bit in place. Ryuu took that moment to get a stronger grip on her leg and swung her over his head and slammed her into the ground making a dent, with how much force he used.

Lucy grunted in pain as she pushed her self off the ground, at least he didn't slam her into a rock like he did last time. 

With a sigh, Ryuu sent a punch towards Lucy making her duck and try to strike him again. A smirk had spread across Ryuu's lips when Lucy landed a hit on his shoulder making him fly across the ground and land on his back. 

Lucy had a grin on her face as she laughed" HA! finally landed a hit." Ryuu was about to make a comeback when he was interrupted by laughter as someone said" HAHAHAHAHAHA! finally, it's about time BunnyGirl landed a hit on you! How many days has it been since Grandine told us about the Magic Council hunting us down? Three maybe, and she just now landed a hit?"

Metalicana stopped laughing when he saw a depressing aura surrounding the blonde who looked like she was about to cry as she mumbled" I know I'm weak, you don't have to have to bring it up though...."  

Metalicana started to freak out as he wasn't too good, with dealing with crying girls! So he started to shake his arms up and down freaking out as he stuttered" h-hey now! I meant it as a compliment! Otterboy has probably been training in combat for years now you're improving!!!" Lucy sent a glare towards his way making Metalicana freeze on the spot as the look sent a shiver down his spine as he was reminded of someone who had the same look...

 Lucy shook off her depressing feeling and walked past Metalicana towards Ryuu who was muttering about being called OtterBoy.  When she got to him she offered her hand to help him up which he grabbed ahold of. When Ryuu was up he Lucy a small smile as he said" He has a point you know. I did train in the forest since I was a little kid, Gran might be old but she didn't take it easy on me. With the pace that you're going, you'll start beating my butt along with anyone else's in no time."

Lucy gave him a small smile as she walked off towards the forest. When she was at the edge of the woods Lucy turned towards them and said" I'm going to wash off, see you guys in a bit."  With that said Lucy disappeared into the forest.

Ryuu chuckled to himself amused at how Lucy could change from one mood to the next. If he didn't know her better he would think she had his magic. He was brought out of thoughts when he heard someone say" She reminds you of him doesn't she?" Ryuu looked towards the voice and saw Grandine smiling sadly at them. 

Ryuu took notice that Dray wasn't with her and asked"Where's Dray I thought she was with you picking berries?" Grandine giggled as she replied" I sent her with Lucy to the creek to wash off the berries, don't worry." Ryuu sighed a little in relief as he asked another question" So what were you talking about when you said Lucy reminds you of someone, who?" 

Grandine sighed sadly as she looked away and was about to answer his question when she interrupted by Metalicana saying" She's talking about a man we once knew very well. For a human, he was a fast learner and he could take on anything you threw at him." Ryuu nodded his hand in understanding as he said" I take it that he was a Dragon Slayer?" Grandine and Metalicana nodded their heads as the Iron Dragon continued" Yup and he took it like a fish towards water, it was actually a little scary at how he could harness all that magic for a boy his age.
