When someone thinks of a being in the woods people think of a peaceful and quiet place for one to calm their nerves. A place where you would want to stay at for a while, but for Ryuu, the only thing that crossed his mind when it came to the forest was that he would rather have his Gran wack him upside the head with her rolling pin than go to another place like this again.
That said teen was running through one of the forests right now letting out a small grunt as he pushed himself off a log that was in the middle of the path making him land a few feet away from the previous spot.
It had been hours since those monsters that attacked them in the clearing from where they were attacked. For that period of time from between then and now the small group has been making their way towards the direction of the village hoping that they would bee save as soon as they entered.
The Copy Mage checked over his shoulder to make sure that Dray was still with them since he had to send Goliath back a short while ago to conserve magic. When he last checked on her she seemed to be doing alright. But that didn't mean that it wouldn't change at any moment so Ryuu always glanced over his shoulder every few minutes to make sure that she was keeping up.
When he checked this time Ryuu saw that the little blonde was keeping up with them, but he got worried when he noticed that she was stumbling over her feet. He took note that Dray was also holding on to her injured shoulder that had started bleed through the makeshift bandage around it from when he wrapped it.
When he saw the injury Ryuu remembered what had happened in the clearing before they had left.
~~~~FlashBack~~~~
He and Loke were having a stare down with each right after he almost struck the Lion Spirit with Lucy whip. One starring down with a nervous smile while the other one was glaring daggers into his skull.
The two were brought out of their contest when Dray ran up to them holding onto her bloody shoulder with her hand as the wound kept bleeding. When she got them the small blonde was swaying from side to side making the older ones look down at her in worry.
After taking a few deep breathe Dray panted" Lucy's safe, but I can't seem to wake her up!" With this said Dray started to slowly drop her knees into the dirt.
When she said this Loke had ran towards a tree where he hid the mage and picked her up from her hiding spot behind it. As he made his way towards them Ryuu noticed the red markings on the Celestial Mages face.
Without argument Loke and Ryuu both decided that it was better off that they left. So with a call to Goliath, who was tying up the other monsters, told him it was time to go. Ryuu grabbed a hold of Lucy seeing as Loke had the best effect on the creatures and would be a good idea to fend them off if any more came. With a quick look at their surroundings, they took off.
At first, Goliath was carrying Dray on his shoulder seeing as the child wasn't really in the condition to be running even with her shoulder patched up. This lasted for a while until it became apparent that Ryuu couldn't keep him around much longer and decided to set her down and go back seeing as they were getting close to their destination.
~~~~End Of FlashBack~~~~
Shaking out of his thoughts Ryuu turned his attention back towards the path in front of him. As they were nearing the edge of the forest, he saw what looked like to be buildings in the far distance.
The girl stayed silent as the Lion picked her up not make a noise of complaint as he did so feeling glad that she didn't have to keep moving. Ever since Goliath was sent back to whatever place he goes to when he is not around Ryuu. It felt like she was running on a dead battery with needles shooting up her arms, Making her slow down her pace.
