Missing Treasure

By the time Lucy woke up the second time she was alone on the cot, Loke having to go back to the Celestial realm and recharge his magic. While staring at the empty space where Loke was and felt her heartache a bit. Unconsciously moving her hand to the empty spot, an image of Natsu came to her mind. 

~Memory~

Looking down at the Dragon Slayer Lucy couldn't help but let a small giggle out. She knew that she should be angry with the fire-breather for breaking into her house, again. But she couldn't find it in her to be mad seeing as Natsu was currently on her bed bear cuddling her pillow. The said male let out a high giggle as he stuffed his face deeper into the fabric. Rubbing his face all over it while he rolled from side to side on the bed.

It wasn't every day that you get to see the all mightly FairyTails Salamander reduce to a pile of giggly goo. 

Lucy was a little reluctant to stop the scene in front of her, but the curiosity of wanting to know what happened won over. With an amused chuckle, Lucy asked "What happened to you?" Natsu's reply was a series of incoherent words that were slightly muffled by the pillow. Glancing around the room Lucy took note of the lack of a blue-furred companion.

 So the idea of asking Happy what happened was definitely out the window. 

Thinking of another plan Lucy decided the next best thing was just to wait it out. And try to get the Pinkette to at least not suffocate himself with her pillow.

With a sigh, Lucy walked to the bed and sat on the edge next to Natsu. He didn't even seem to notice that she was there as he continued to stuff his face further into the fabric. Lucy hesitantly pokes at the Dragon Slayer's shoulder trying to see how he would react but the only thing she got was a small twitch to said shoulder.

Poking at it again Lucy muttered "Come on Natsu, let go of the pillow." Reaching over his shoulder and grabbed the pillow that he was holding. 

As she did this Lucy smelled the faint scent of the outdoors, making her pause for a moment. Realizing what she was doing, Lucy stiffened up and was about to pull away when Natsu decided to roll around facing her direction. When he settled down Lucy let out a breath of relief seeing that he was asleep. Because it wouldn't have been too fun trying to explain why she was close without him ending up calling her a weirdo like usual...

Before she could think further into the memory lucy was interrupted by a weight jumping on her while it exclaimed "Lucy!" When the weight landed on the blonde's cot. Lucy couldn't help but let out a laugh as she sees Dray laying halfway on top of her snuggling into her stomach as the rest of her was on the cot. With a giggle, Lucy asked" Hey, Dray could you tell me where we are?" Dray gave a small shrug as she climbed her way over Lucy so that she was laying next to the blonde.

 When she was laying next to her Dray answered" Well after you fell asleep Ryuu decided that we should hurry up and move on before nightfall. But, while we were walking through the forest a lot of monsters came out! So we ended up running until we met up with the Dragons. That's all I can remember really..." The girl trailed off as she tries to recall what else happened, but really only recalls the pain and a clown. With a shiver, Dray snuggled closer to the Blonde who was looking down at the girl with a confused look.

Not liking the haunted look that appeared in the child's eyes when she spoke of monsters. Lucy wraps her arm gently around Dray's shoulders, dragging her closer to her body, giving her a comforting hug. The girl just sigh's as she lets Lucy squeeze her body closure, soaking in the warm skin that radiated from the older woman.
