"I could get used to this great taxi service you know." I jokingly said as he drove me down the esplanade. It was a beautiful, clear morning. He was playing chill, alternative music that instantly made me feel comfortable.

"Don't look." I said as I quickly changed into my bikini.

He laughed. "I saw you in the shower remember?"

"You were looking at the floor for god's sake!" He smiled sheepishly. "Oh my god, you are not the innocent man I thought you were."

I cannot believe how perfect he was. He was so kind to me but he also joked around with me. He was completely different to any man I'd ever met apart from maybe my Dad. "With him?"

I danced over to the kitchen, "Yes! And I'm so happy."

I saw him smile and look back down at the book he was reading.

"Good girl, I see you took my advice. So are you two a thing yet?"

"No, not exactly." Everything seemed to be dancing. Even the water running from the tap.

"But you like him don't you?"

"Dad, the truth is, I think....I think I might."

He smiled again and "I'm off to work now, I'll see you tonight. Don't get into any trouble. Please."

My phone buzzed less than an hour after arriving home. "Meet me tonight at the bowling alley? I can't wait much longer until I can see you."

My grin was from ear to ear.

"Of course. Should I bring a toothbrush?"

"If you want ;)" was the reply.

For the first time since Primary school, I was genuinely happy. Happy about something good, something real, something that an average 20 year old should be ha
