I have an intense case of auto phobia. That's probably the main reason why I, at 20 years old, was still living with Dad. My room hadn't changed since I was about 16, but it was okay because no one really came into it. Working at the local night club as a cocktail waitress, kept me busy and around people, which I loved. Some would describe me as a mystery, or as a trouble maker, truth be told, I am probably both, but at 20 I was definitely trouble.
In a small town like ours, word spreads like wildfire. After an incident when I was 17, all the mothers in the district locked their sons away from me. I never had any real close friends, all my friends were ones I would get drunk with one night and then forget less than a month later. I never had a real boyfriend technically. All the guys I dated, I never genuinely liked. I was always happy to get rid of them. I was the school captain, the town's best netballer and often called the hottest chick. But in the end, none of this mattered.
My name is Aisha, I'm now 24. Since being 20, I have matured. I'm telling you my story, in the hopes that you will learn from my mistakes and hopefully I can save you from misery and suffering that I was forced to go through due to my immature decisions.
You can learn something from everyone in your life, they all have something to offer. Don't be oblivious and stupid like me. Accept advice and keep smiling. I was stuck up and rude, don't be like me, unpleasant and deceptive.
My name is Aisha, I still have more to learn, but I'm a better person than I have ever been. My name is Aisha, and this is my story.
