My mom let me get my lip pierced it hurt a little actually sticking a sewing needle slowly threw you're lip I think hurts less than getting it pierced by someone who knows what their doing but I highly don't recommend ever doing your own piercing it can get so painfully really easy and infected which can be really bad.
