As you can see I haven't had many Reptiles this is mostly due to the live a while and I've never had to reptile at the same time for more than a day. I've also had many rodients, two dogs, frogs, hermit crabs, and insects. I've almost LOVE Reptiles when I was little I was let's say very infatuated by them I love learning about them and interacting with them as I do with all animals I even would watch this person called the reptile man and this one other guy who owned some exotic animals or educational perposes. I've recently noticed that people have been posting on YouTube and have been for a number of years that Reptiles should be banned and "They are taken out of their native habitat and can't have all their needed requirements met in captivity." I strongly disagree with this 'cause most places only sell captive bred animals one of the few that aren't are hermit crabs 'cause the rarely breed in captivity but snakes do so it's very rare for someone to buy a wild caught snake and if they did they probably wouldn't eat due to stress. I've had my male ball python for almost 4 years official 4 on Christmas Eve and he does just fine he eats well he's only gotten sick once and that didn't even require vet care and he got snake mites but those are common and easy to treat. I've only ever had one problem snake and that was because when he was moved from the person who raised him it stressed him and he didn't want to eat and sadly passed away. A lot of people also argue that their "dangerous" I agree people probably shouldn't be keeping a 15 foot animal on their basement or a venomous one but a small 5 foot can't do a lot. Keep in mind a lot of snakes a killed by live food they can only hard small animals and most likely won't cause they wouldn't be able to eat then unless like a hamster or gerbil believe me my snake wouldn't be able to eat me or a rabbit and snakes don't waste energy on killing things they don't intend to eat and look it up there's more deaths from dogs in a 15 year span then constrictors. People also argue they'll get out but really they won't if you take proper care to make sure they can't. I've only had one accident of a snake getting loss she was only 14 inches long and we found her 3 days later 'cause my sisters dog was barking at her when she was trying to warm up. They can't do a lot unless get outside in a place they can thrive if my snake got out he'd die it's winter and his ancestors are from Africa it doesn't snow there. They only problems snake it mostly seems is people in warm places on the US east coast is letting bermease pythons go. That's seriously not a good idea they can get 15 feet in captivity in a place where they have no natural predators they can most likely get bigger. Until next update~Ash
