Cloe's POV

"Just leave me!"

I wanted to run after him but I decided not to.

Did I do something wrong?

He seemed happy during our bet and then he was pissed. Feeling already down, I decided to follow Jungkook's request and leave him for world's sake alone.

Lying on the blanket, my eyes wandered around the first slightly visible stars until someone popped up in front of my view.

"Cloe?"

An orange spot appeared above me.

"Yeah?"

I answered a bit off, still lost in the stars.

Wait Taehyung!

"Tae, you're back! Where have you been? Is everything ok? Where's Jimin?"

I attacked him with questions as he lowered himself to my level.

"Everything is fine but tell me where's Kookie?"

He asked while scanning the surroundings.

"Kookie you mean you want to eat?"

"No, I mean Jungkook, where is he?"

"I don't know, he left."

I answered dryly causing the oranged haired male to frown. Before he could ask any further I excused myself, suddenly feeling awfully tired.

"I'm going home. Goodnight, Tae."

I stood up quickly so he couldn't stop me.

"Goodnight.."

On my way home there was this one sentence repeating in my head, like an annoying chorus of a song you don't actually like.

Leave me alone.

Why do I even care? I shouldn't care but he just seemed so.. stressed, it made me want to know the reason.

Finally arriving at home, I was about to get in when my phone vibrated. Stopping with the intention to check on it, a noise next to my side distracted me. Looking up, I saw somebody leaning against our porch.

"Jake? What are doing here?"

I asked while I was getting closer. As he made a few steps towards me, I could see him clearer in the light of the lamps. His hair was messy, his blue eyes seemed tired.

Some little scratches covered his perfect jawline. He pulled his hands out of his college jacket, man I love those college jackets.

"Just wanted to talk to you."

He answered and rubbed his neck. While he did so, I could see his arms muscles pop through his shirt.

Has he been exercising?

I spaced out for a few, asking myself how much more I've missed out on my old friend's life.

"Fine, talk."

I said while passing him by without looking at him.

"Where are you going?"

He raised one eyebrow at me.

"Home? Dude we need to stop this late night conversations, it's cold outside and it's mad late."

"Oh.. yeah, you're right.. I should go home then.."

He turned around to leave when I called him back.

"No idiot, I meant to go into my house instead of freezing our butts outside at my porch!"
