Author POV

After a good while of knocking Cloe finally gave in and turned the music in her room off. Slowly, she lifted her body out of the fortress of pillows and blankets she had been hiding in the past hour, black stains from her mascara all over them.

She laughed shortly at the thought how Yoongi would yell at her because of the ruined fabric but Yoongi left.

Just like everyone else.

The girl reached out for her phone which was purposely on airplane mode, trying to avoid calls and texts from the boys on the other side of the door. She checked the time only to realize that only one hour has passed and she still felt miserable.

How long does it take for this damn feeling to go away?

She sat up on the edge of the bed, just to let herself fall back onto it, her back hitting the soft mattress as she stared up at the ceiling.

Was that what Yoongi was staring at for hours when he felt miserably hungover?

Suddenly a little warmth invaded her system by the thought to be at the exact same place as once her missed friend. As if something of him was still lingering here.

Repeated knocks on the door interrupted her little moment as she let her gaze wander to the door.

"Who?"

After locking herself up like a little child she decided to finally act at least a bit mature and answered to the boys' attempts of checking on her. After all, they just cared and were worried, it'd be unfair to let them on the outside.

"H-hoseok."

The male's voice seemed surprised by the sudden reaction as if he knocked expecting to get rejected.

Weakly, the girl dragged herself out of the bed and shuffled to the door to open it a little, creating a tiny gap.

"What do you want? Namjoon said I could spend the night."

Cloe couldn't help thinking Hoseok just saw a kitten die upon seeing his face.

"Let me be there for you."

The brown haired male's eyes were so wide, so full of sincerity and sympathy, how could anyone say no to him?

So Cloe opened the door a little wider for the other to enter before sitting down on the edge of the bed again, Hoseok standing in front of her with a worried expression.

"Please don't be mad at us."

The male begged with such an angelic look on his face which usually would make everyone coo within the radios of two miles but not Cloe today.

The girl let her gaze wander from her friend's apologetic face to the window in the room. It was still raining, raindrops falling against the glass and rolling down peacefully.

"Please, we're so sorry, if we had known-"

"I'm not mad at you."

The younger ended his rambling, eyes still focused on the raindrops outside.

"Really? You're not even looking at me."

The girl laughed upon hearing this, looking up to him with her red, tired and swollen eyes that lost their usual glint.

"Just wanted to spare you this."

Cloe laughed while pointing at her face, causing the other to sit down next to her, rubbing her back in a soothing manner, whispering that she wasn't looking that bad.
