Author POV
After a certain amount of time Jungkook got back to his senses and was now wondering why the brown haired girl had left him all alone.
Hesitantly he made his way out of the room when he heard noises coming from downstairs.
Finally he located the girl in the kitchen bending next to the fridge. A confused expression was set on his face as he watched Cloe place something onto the kitchen counter. He approached the girl when he finally recognized her intention.
For real?
Reaching the kitchen Jungkook let out a exaggerated sigh at the sight of the ice cream package the girl had gotten out of the freezer.
"Goodness, don't sneak up at me like this."
The male was beyond confused as to how different the girl's voice sounded compared to not long ago.
He couldn't quite understand how all Cloe wanted was eating ice cream when her life resembled a single mess seconds ago.
"Come here."
The brown haired girl commanded to the confused boy while getting two spoons out of one drawers.
Jungkook couldn't help releasing a snicker a the imagine of the girl already have eaten three scoops of ice cream and here she was pulling out another full package of the cold dessert.
With a cool expression, the girl handed him a spoon and gestured to follow her into the living area.
Once again Jungkook's thoughts trailed off as to how the girl next to him was crying her heart out just minutes ago and was now was silently sitting next to him, intending to swallow another portion of ice cream.
Don't let it be pretended.
"What's wrong?"
The male asked out as he noticed Cloe holding her cup of cold dessert against her forehead.
"I'm perfectly fine can't you tell?"
The girl answered through gritted teeth as she closed her eyes at the coldness against her skin.
Damn, no wonder she's friends with Yoongi.
"Sorry, I just, I don't know. My head is kinda hurting and I have no clue why."
At the realization of the reason for Cloe's pain Jungkook couldn't help the laugh escaping his lips.
"What's so funny about that?"
The girl hissed, pulling the cup of to face the older.
"Well, that's kinda my fault."
Again an unwanted smile managed its way onto Jungkook's lips as the girl just stared at him confused.
"After you've fainted I carried you back home but on the way up the stairs, I don't know, I accidentally hit your head against the handrail."
The brown haired boy had been glad that the mood was lifted up but that soon changed when he saw Cloe staring blankly at him.
"You did what?"
The girl asked, any coolness leaving her face as her lips parted.
"I didn't mean to hurt you, it was an accident."
Jungkook was suddenly worried at Cloe's reaction while on the other hand the girl couldn't believe her ears.
Hearing that she fainted was one of a bad thing but Jungkook carrying her all the way home, into her warm house and staying with her until the very now, she didn't even want to imagine what could have happened that day.
