11 - Testing...

CARTERS POV

I looked at my watch. Damn it's 8:15! I switched off the TV and bolted to the door. I locked it and jumped onto my motorbike. I threw my helmet on and and zoomed off to the restaurant.

When I arrived I saw Quinn in her cute little white floral dress that was short. Well I admit I liked that, but that's just her skanky attitude. She wore cream heels to match. Her white cardigan had pockets that held her hands. She looked cute and sexy at the same time. She walked over to me as I stared at her through my helmet. Her blonde hair looked just like Kylie's, straight and long. I miss her.

"Hello? Carter? Is that you?" She pestered.

I took off my helmet and greeted her. "Hey doll, yeah it's me."

"Phew, you freaked me out Carter. I thought you were a biker for a second." She replied relieved.

I got of the bike and set it down. "Well I used to be."

"Really?!" She asked in an annoying tone.

"Yeah."

She grabbed my arm and walked me to the restaurant. "Tell me more about that"

KYLIES POV

I slowly jumped up from my sudden sleep. I looked around, it was pitch dark. I had night vision. Cool! I saw Fate in the corner, I could hear her sleeping. When I looked at the bookshelf I saw Xavier sleeping in his arms on a book he was reading. Awesome! They are sleeping. It's about time I got out of here. I looked at my wrist, they were tied down with ropes. I leaned down and extended my fangs, I decided to bite off the ropes. Surprisingly it worked and I untied my other hand. When my hands were free I tried to get the stones off my lap. I tapped it. No burn! I picked it up in my hand, it doesn't hurt anymore. I wonder why? Oh well I untied my feet and got off the chair. I slowly walked towards the door.

*CREAAAKKKKKKK*

Damn! I heard their breathing muffle for a second. I continued. When I made it to the door I unlocked it.

*CLICK*

The door opened. Yes! I closed it behind me and locked the door. Success! I whooshed to a nearby forest within seconds. This is so cool! I can't believe I can run so fast. I thought back to the powers the book said I had.

- Super Speed

- Telepathy

- Compulsion

- Flight

- Healing Abilities

I wondered what it meant by that. I walked up to the tree and jumped. I landed on the top of the tree. I stared at the summer nights sky. So beautiful. I laid back on the branch I was sitting on. The moon illuminated through the trees. I noticed that it's almost full moon. Carter will turn soon. I have to watch that. I sat up, let's test an ability shall we? I jumped off the tree and walked around a little. I spotted a shiny object in the distance. I ran to it and picked it up. It was a small pocket knife. I touched the edge, it was fairly sharp. It cut my bandaid. I remembered that I pierced my finger with my teeth first grew. I peeled it off and there was no mark. Weird. I held the knife tighter and rested my hand on the tree. The tip knife gently touched the the centre of my hand. I drew blood.

"I really hope this works" I whispered.

I pulled the knife behind past my head an then stabbed the knife through my hand. I screamed and dropped the knife.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow!" I said holding my hand tightly.

My hand was full of blood and I squeezed it tighter and tighter. That hurt so much! I really hope this works. When I let my hand go I looked at it. The wound was bloody and a clean cut. I watched it get smaller and smaller until there was no mark on my hand. No scar, no memory that could remind me that it ever happened. I'm so relieved! That hurt like a. You know what I'm not gunna finish that sentence. You probably know what I was gunna say anyway. That was a very unusual pain I had. It was hurtful. I don't wanna do that again. Ever!

Okay now let's move on. Next thing to test. Strength. I walked over to another tree. I punched it and my hand went through to the other side. So I guess I'm strong. I pat the trunk.

"Sorry tree. " I whispered.

I thought I would test another one. Flight. I have no Idea how to do that one. I saw a nearby mountain. I ran as fast as I can to the top. I timed it. It took me 10 seconds! I thought that the only way I could test this was to attempt to skydive off the top of the mountain and fly. If it doesn't work ill break my bones and heal so I won't really die. Hahaha. It's weird joking about that. I went to the other edge of the hill. I rubbed my hands together. This is it. I prepared myself.

Must think:

I'm as light as a feather, I'm as light as a feather. I'm a bird, a big bird with big ass feathers.

I sighed and ran, jump Kylie just jump!
