Chapter 34

"Dad, I'm home!" I shout and get into my house.

I look around to find my dad. His car is outside and the front door is unlocked so he must be already home.

I keep walking and I see the backdoor is open. Maybe my dad is in the backyard and cleaning something. Mikey suddenly run to me and lick my feet. I lift him up and hold him then walk to the backyard.

"Mike, there is a new mom at school and she just divorced. She is beautiful and kinda hot one." Finn's mom says to dad.

"Wow cool. Then?" Dad chuckles.

"You want me to set you up on a date with her?" Finn's mom asks excitedly.

"I'm not interesting with that, Carole." Dad chuckles and shakes his head.

"Always be like that." I roll my eyes.

Dad turn his face at me and chuckles. "Hey, my baby girl is home."

"Hey, honey. I dont hear Finn's voice." Finn's mom smiles at me.

"Oh Finn said that he still have football so I took a cab to get home." I giggle. "Mrs. Hummel do you have any tots?"

"I did. You want? Come in." She smiles at me.

"Maddy... no." Dad shakes his head.

"Oh it's okay. The boys also love that. Come in." Finn's mom says and open her beckyard fence.

"Bye bye daddy." I grin at my dad and place Mikey on the ground and walk to Finn's backyard.

"Just stop make tots, Carole. Or she cant stop ask you to make one." Dad says.

"That's okay. My boys love that." Finn's mom chuckles and get into her house.

I laugh and get into Finn's house from the back door. "So what is this new mom looks like?" I ask Finn's mom.

"She is 44th and just divorced. Why, honey?" Finn's mom takes a box from the cupboard as I sit down on the mini bar table.

"So it means she already have kids right." I sigh.

"Wait, what happened?" Finn's mom frowns at me and shows me a box with tots inside.

"I was thinking that if I go to New York, my dad will be alone. I asked him to move to New York with me but he doesnt want to. I worry if I leave him alone then who will take him care? So I've been planning to set him on a date with woman aged 40 or more or at the same age with him but didnt have any child." I said to her.

"Why must be without a child?"

"Because I dont want my dad share his love to another child. I just want to be his only one daughter for the rest of our lives. So a woman without a child. Beside that I watched movie that not all step-siblings are nice. I meant, look at Finn and Kurt, they still fight at each other and to be honest I dont want to have step-mother since I watched movie about step-mother and they dangerous." I said.

"But I'm not. I treat Finn and Kurt same. I love them both." Finn's mom chuckles.

"You're one in a million, Mrs. Hummel. I just dont know what to do." I let out a sigh.

"What if you find a step-mother like me?" Finn's mom asks me.

"It will be good but I dont want you to marry my dad because if that happen, I will be step-siblings with Finn and I cant marry him. No. I wont let that happen." I shake my head.

"Honey, it's hard to persuade your dad. You know that since you were little I always tried to set him on a date but the things he always said 'I'm not interest with that, Carole'. Always." Finn's mom says to me.
