Three Years

Chapter 18

*Aphmau's POV*
"Babe, you alright?" Aaron asked. "Yeah, I'm just exhausted." 
"Okay. You scared me. I thought you were going to pass out." Aaron said, extending his arm out for me to grab. He pulled me up off the ground. "So, are you still a Shadow Knight?" Garroth asked. I shrugged, "I don't feel... strange anymore, but I can't be certain." I said. They sighed.
We walked back to the village, slowly. I started at my feet and continued to kick rocks. The sun was starting to set and we were almost there.
"You okay Aph?" I looked up. Aaron was speaking to me. " Yeah, just a little shaken up." He wraps an arm around my shoulder. "It's going to be okay. Promise." He smiled. "You know what we should do!" 
"What?" Aaron asked. "We should start planning the wedding!" I smile. "Yeah." He played with a strand of my hair. "Everything okay?" I asked. He nodded, "Yeah, it's just I have some secret plans for the wedding and I want to do them myself. Is that okay with you?"
"Of course it is. You do what you want to do. It's your wedding too, not just mine." 
"I know, but I want this to be special. I get to marry the girl I love." He kissed my cheek.

Once we got back to Phoenix Drop, I went to say hi to everyone. I started with Dante and Kawaii~chan. (Yep she's finally here guys! R.I.P to everyone...) I knocked on the door. It opened and I saw Dmitri standing there. "Hey Aphmau!" He ran up and hugged. "Hey buddy. Is daddy home?" 
"Yep! I'll go get him." He started to walk away, but I called him back. "Don't tell him it's me. Also if it isn't too much trouble could you get Nekoette (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) and Kawaii~chan for me please?" He smiled and nodded, bouncing away. I looked at Aaron. "I can't wait to see them again."
Dmitri came back with all of them about tw minuets later. "Aphmau-Senpai and Aaron-kun!Hi" Kawaii~chan hugged me tightly. "Hey!" Nekoette ran up to met and hugged me. "Aww hey!" I hugged her back.
I looked up and saw Dante. He stared at me and I ran to him. I hugged him super tight. "Dante!"
"Aph! I thought you were-"
"It's a long story what happened." I interrupted. "We have time."

I explained what had happened and they all listened intently. "Wow." They all said. "Yeah." I started to feel dizzy. I grabbed my head. "Babe, you all right?" Aaron asked. "Just a little dizzy."
"Come on, let's get you home." He said grabbing my hand. "Bye guys!" They said. I waved and we walked out.
I put my head on Aaron's shoulder. I couldn't stand straight, so I ended up falling.
"Aph, are you sure everything is okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine." I tried to stand up, but I failed miserably and feel back onto the ground. "Here." Aaron picked me up bridal style and carried me back to our house.
He laid me down on the bed. He laid next to me. I snuggled up next to him. "I'm so glad we can do things like this." I sighed, happily. Aaron drew circles on my arm, smiling. "Yeah me too."
"Aaron?" I said, staring at the ceiling. "Yeah?"
"Why do you love me? There are plenty of other girls and you chose me."
"I love you because your, well, you. You have the most beautiful smile and laugh I've ever heard or seen. You're so brave and strong-willed. Also you are so, so amazing. Heck, you're the most amazing girl I've ever met. I chose you for a reason, and I'll never regret that decision. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and you know that. I wouldn't have proposed if I didn't. I love you to the moon and back. Don't forget that."
I was crying. It was the sweetest thing ever.
"I love you so much." I said. "I love you too." He kissed my forehead.

"He doesn't love you." A raspy voice said. "It's out of pity." Says another high-pitched one. "No you go it wrong. He loves me." I say. "Keep wishing sweetheart. He'll never love you." Raspy said. "That's right. Listen to us and leave him. Leave before your heart is broken again."
"No I won't leave. Just please leave me alone." I fell onto the ground, covering my ears. I wanted the voices to leave.

I woke up sweating, gasping for air. "It was just a dream." I mumble. Aaron tosses and turns in his sleep.
I get up and head downstairs. I sit down at the table, drumming my fingers on it. I suddenly felt dizzy again. I stood up to grab a glass of water, but I immediately collapsed.
I heard footsteps. They were faint, but I still heard them. Then a voice. "Aph. Aph. Aph? Please get up! Don't leave me." It was Aaron. I saw him for a second then I saw the world fade away.
