Three Years

Chapter 11

*Aaron's POV*

Hearing Aph say yes was the greatest thing ever. I thought she would say no, but I'm now engaged to the most amazing girl ever. I stood up and pulled Aph into a kiss. She was still crying a little bit. "Everything is perfect." She said leaning into my chest. I kissed her forehead, "Yes, everything is." I said.

We spoke too soon. 

Lily walked up to us, sword in hand. "What do you think you are doing Aaron?" She asked. "Proposing to Aph. Gotta problem with that?" I said. "WE WERE MEANT TO BE AARON! STAY WITH ME! SHE'S PURE TRASH!" She growled. I walked up to her, "Speak of Aph like that again or you'll have a very unpleasant experience after. Got it." 

She whipped her sword at my head, but I dodged it by ducking my head. When I came back up, she hit me in the head with the hilt of the sword. Hard. My vision blurred and my head started to spin. The last thing I heard was someone call my name.

*Aphmau's POV*

"Aaron!" I shouted, rushing over to his limp body. His head had a huge gash in it. It was bleeding furiously. Lily laughed. "What are you going to do now?" I was infuriated. I picked up Aaron's- he wasn't as heavy as I thought- body and rushed over to Garroth. "Take everyone and get them somewhere safe. Also I need your sword."

"No Aphmau. I won't leave you-" I interrupted him, "Please. I promise to come find you." He sighed, nodding. I took his sword, walking to Lilith, Mirianth, and Rocky. I patted Rocky and Mirinath's head. I kissed Lilith on the forehead. "Be careful Mommy," she said, "but kick som serious butt." I smiled, "I will." I hugged Garroth and kissed Aaron. "Go." I said and then they were gone.

"Are you ready?" Lily asked. I nodded. I got in position. I was going to win this for Aaron and everyone else. I closed my eyes. 'Please let me live through this.'

And then it begun.

I swung at her first, but she blocked my attack. Lily hit the side of my neck. I hissed in pain, putting a hand to my neck to feel for blood. It was bleeding alright.

I aimed for her stomach, but she dodged that also. 'Why can't I land a hit?' I tried again. Miss. I aimed for her leg. Miss. It was like something was protecting her.

She took aim at my stomach, hitting it slightly with the tip. Nothing happened.

The battle raged on. I was covered in cuts and bruises. Blood falling from my arms, legs, face, and neck. "You're strong aren't you?" Lily said. I growled.

Finally, she hit my head with the blade, causing me to black out.

*Aaron's POV*

I woke up with a pounding headache. I groaned, rubbing my head. Garroth was looking at me. "Your awake finally." I nod. "What happened? And where am I?" Then I notice Aph is hear. "Wait! Where's Aph?!" I shouted in a panic.

Garroth gulped, "She's fighting Lily." I threw myself out of bed. "Where is she?" I asked. He told me. I ran there as fast as I could.

I Aph, knocked out and Lily standing over her. Ready. To. Stab. Her.

I became furious. I ran over, punching Lily, knocking her out cold. Aph was covered in blood. "Oh no." I said to myself, shaking. I picked her up quickly, running her to the nearest medical area.
