This chapter will consist mainly of flashbacks from the first book and a few from earlier chapters. Enjoy!

*Aphmau's POV*

I woke up the next morning next to Aaron. It was what I had been wishing for since this whole mess started. I started to think about what happened all those years ago.
I remembered when Aaron first lost, and I thought I lost him forever.

Flashback #1
I held Aaron's bandana in my hand. The tears rolled down my face. I didn't know what to do. It's been days since his death...
I unwrapped the bandana when a piece of paper fell out of it. I picked it up and looked at it. It said, "I'm sorry Aphmau... you were always in pain at the thought of not having Garroth around... I had to save him for you... if you read this... I'm not dead... I just didn't have the courage to face you after everything I just did" -Aaron
End Flashback #1

I remember how happy I was knowing he was still here, but I was hurt that he never came back  after. I looked next to me. He's here Aphmau, that's all that matters. I thought.
I remember when Garroth, Travis, Katelyn, and I were heading to Scaleswind and we got attacked by those shadow souls. That's when we all knew Travis and Katelyn had a thing for each other.

Flashback #2
I woke up to see Katelyn and Travis laying next to each other. Travis had his arm around Katelyn and she had her head on his chest...
"Now we have to wait for them to wake up." I pointed at Travis and Katelyn. "They are so cute together." Garroth said. I laughed in agreement.
End Flashback #2

It was so cute! I loved seeing that Katelyn could have feelings, even with her hard, outer shell. It made me smile. Everyone should have someone they love, no matter who it is. As long as they're happy, everything's alright.
It was hard to see Aaron again. My emotions ran wild that day. It was so stupid of me to run off that day. I wish I didn't.

Flashback #3
I suddenly heard my name from next to me. I looked over at the man and saw what he looked like. I looked in shock at who was in front of me. "Aaron..."
I froze up. All I saw was Aaron, the man I thought I would never see again. Tears fell down my face. I didn't know what to do so I ran. "Aph!" I heard him yell, but I kept running. I ran out of Scaleswind and went straight not knowing where I was headed.
End Flashback #3

I was so stupid to run off. That messed up so much. It cause a lot of problems, that wouldn't have happened if I had just stayed.
One of the greatest moments was when Aaron kissed me for the first time. It was short, but so sweet and magical.

Flashback #4
Aaron's POV
I looked at Garroth. He nodded his head because he knew what I was about to do. I cupped Aph's chin and kissed her lightly. I looked down at her. "Don't you EVER let them touch you again. Or I swear to Irene I will beat them till they can't breathe." She stood in front of me shocked but, blushing at what I had done and said.
End Flashback #4

I smiled, remembering that one little moment . I stared at the ceiling, sighing happily.
I loved that one day that Aaron and I had the day to ourselves. It was amazing.

Flashback #5
"Close your eyes." Aaron whispered to me. I obeyed, but I was so curious, that I peeked. Aaron giggled, "You thought you could get away with that without me knowing you'll peek." He covered my face with a blindfold...
The place Aaron took me was beautiful. It was a secluded area in the forest. There was flowers everywhere and a waterfall behind it all...
There were tears in my eyes. I couldn't believe what he had done for me. I wiped a tear that was falling down my cheek...
"Aaron it's beautiful. I love it! Thank you so much!" I turned around and threw my arms around him. He kissed me and whispered in my ear, "Anything for you, babe..."
I blushed when he called me babe. Aaron noticed and laughed. I smacked him. "It's not funny when I blush." I fake pouted...
Aaron walked over to a clear patch of ground and put the blanket down. He pulled out the sandwiches I made. I bit into mine and quietly hummed a tune...
"Sing." Aaron said. I looked at him and swallowed. "I'm not very good at it..."
"I don't care. Please sing, for me." He gave me puppy eyes. I sighed, "Fine..."
