Three Years

Chapter 14

*Aaron's POV*
It hurts. A lot. To see Aph like this. Something inside me says that she's going to be okay, but something else says she's not.
Phoenix Drop has been very... inactive.... since we got back. Everyone knows what happened to her. They all know that it's been days and she's still not awake. It's slowly killing me. I blame myself for this.
It's my fault. I made Lily angry. I should be where she is right now, but instead I'm here grieving over how I might have lost her. For good.

*Aphmau's POV*
I see darkness. I see small white spots, floating through the air. I step forward carefully. I didn't know what was out there. I didn't even know where I was. I saw no life. Then I saw a small car, running to the right.
I followed it. I needed to know where it was headed.
It stopped and turned. It looked at me, then cocked its head. It ran to me, then around me, then back in the direction it was originally running in.
I was a little confused by its actions. I started to follow it again.
But I felt something. It was crawling up my back. It crawled to my arms and hands. It was a... shadow of some sort. It started to eat away any color that was on me.
I couldn't move, I couldn't scream. I had no voice. Then I saw a small portal. It was glowing purple. I walked towards it. Then I stepped inside.

*Aaron's POV*
Aph was tossing and turning. I kneeled down next to her, "Babe it's only a dream. Everything will be okay." But was everything really going to okay? I grabbed her hand, looking at it. My eyes froze open. Her hand was turning black. Her clothes became a dark red. I didn't know what to do, so I shouted.
"Garroth! Come here, quickly please! Something is wrong with Aph!" He ran into the room. He looked at her.
"What happened?" He asked. I tried to speak, but I couldn't find the words.
"I'm going to go get Emmalyn. I'll be back as soon as I can." And then he was gone.

It didn't take him long to get Emmalyn. She rushed to the bedside, studying Aph's features. "This does not look good." She said, pulling out a book. "Aaron find anything in this book that might look like Aphmau." I nodded, taking the book from her hand.
I flipped through the pages. "Found it!" She took the book. "Uhh... This doesn't look to good."
"What is it?" She gulped, "Look at this." She showed me a page. "No. No no no. She can't be."

*Aphmau's POV*
A strange power consumed me as I walked through that portal. I then saw an old friend of my...

I felt tears in my eyes, threatening to pour out. He saw me, and ran to me. He wrapped his arms around me.
"Aph. I can't believe it's you." I cried into his shoulder. "I thought you were dead." He pulled away, wiping a tear off my cheek. "I was never dead. I was here."
"What is this place and what happened to me?" He looked at me then looked up and down at me. "Oh no. How did this happen?"
"What do you mean Laurence? What happened?"
"Look down." I did and saw red. Red. Red. And more red. "What happened to me? Please tell me."
Laurence gulped, "You've become what I am."

*Aaron's POV*
"She can't be. No. I refuse to believe it."
"Aaron look at her," Emmalyn said, "she looks exactly like one."
"What's going on?" Garroth asked. I looked to Emmalyn, hoping she wouldn't make me tell him. "Look at the book." She said, handing him it.
"No. That's- that's impossible. How?"
"That's what I want to know. I want to how she became a....

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post yesterday I got distracted with other things. Also I wrote this on my phone, not my laptop. It's being stupid rn so I'm not even gonna bother with it.
