"Why do you want me to stay so bad after what I've caused and what hell I've put you through?"

"Because I love you"

"But I made a mistake that hurt everyone, not just you"

"They'll forgive you, please Skylar"

She sighed "ok"

"Really?"

"Mhm"

"So, you'll be my girlfriend again?"

"If you'll take me back"

"Of course I will. Why wouldn't I?"

"I hurt you" she said looking down

"It's ok everyone makes mistakes. We don't even have to talk about it anymore, I think we both got what we needed to say off our chest"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Ok"

We held onto each other for what felt like forever. But I didn't mind, this is my first time getting to hold her since she ended things.

We heard movement and whispering outside my door so we looked up and saw jake and bradlee poking their heads around the corner.

"What are you guys doing?" They walked out from behind the wall and looked at us

"Uuumm.......nothing"

"You're lying, I thought you guys left"

"We didn't"

"Why?"

"We wanted you guys to get back together"

"But you guys were just saying you didn't like her"

"Well....we..uh.....fine, we have to tell you something"

"What?"

"We were part of this"

"What are you talking about?"

"We couldn't stand to see you so sad, so we went to talk to Skylar but we saw that she was sad too. She needed you and you needed her. Obviously you guys weren't going to do something about it so me and jake talked her into coming over here. But she didn't believe that you still wanted her so we came to talk to you and the whole time, we were on the phone with her and she was in her car out front listening to everything. Since she knew you still wanted her, she came in to talk to you and try to fix things. We also heard everything so y'all need to get your anger out cause you both were bein' pretty salty"

I just laughed "thank you. You guys are good friends"

"Mhm. But we're actually gonna go this time, bye"

"Bye"

I looked at Skylar "promise me that no matter how hard things get, you won't give up on us"

She stared directly into my eyes and grabbed my hands "I promise"
