I loved the whole trip. It was nice to spend time with my friends and my girlfriend. I had time to myself......time to think. Time that was well-needed.
I sat in front of the tv screen but nothing was on.
I heard Skylar come running down the stairs then she jumped over the back of the couch and landed right next to me.
"Hey baby"
"Hey" she replied
"Is everything okay?"
"I don't know"
"What happened?"
"I got a message from nick"
"Really? You guys haven't talked in ages"
"I know"
"What did he say?"
"Look" she said handing me her phone

Hey Skylar, I just wanted to let you know that I'm moving to Oklahoma on the tenth.
That was kind of a blank message. Is he mad at her?
"Reply back"
"What do I say?"
"Here" I said typing in some words

Okay, that sucks. Maybe we can spend some time together before you go?
We almost instantly got a reply

She didn't get a reply
"What is he talking about?"
"I don't know" I said shrugging his shoulders
"Think about it. I want to know"
I thought back to the night I showed up to his house and told him everything. Oh shit....
"What is it?"
"He stopped talking to us because he liked you too"
"He what?!? You're not being serious"
"I am"
"Now I feel bad"
"Why?"
"I don't know. I always got so angry at him, but now I know he stopped talking to me for the same reason you did"
"It doesn't make a difference does it?"
"Yeah, a little bit"
"I meant between me and you"
"Oh, god no"
"Okay"
It sucks, I know how she feels. Friends come and go in and out of your life. It happens sometimes.
But I don't see why she's upset about it now, she never was before
