Thomas squeezed Newt's hand tightly.
"Don't worry Tommy." Newt said as the door swung open.
A little girl of about 3 walked in after an older woman. The little girl had blond hair and brown eyes. Her hair was in pigtails with red ribbons at the top. She hid shyly behind the woman.
"Hazel," the woman said, looking back at the little girl. "This is Thomas and Newt. They're here to adopt you."
The boys stood up. Hazel walked out from behind the woman. Newt squatted down to her level.
"Hi." He said, putting his hand out. "My name's newt." He said. "We're gonna be your parents now"
The little girl looked as if she was gonna make a break for it. But instead, she threw her arms around Newt's neck, giggling.
Newt picked the child up and brought her over to Thomas. Thomas tickled her, causing Hazel to laugh harder.
"I'll go get the paperwork." The woman said, walking out.
"I think our family's complete now, don't you think?" Newt asked Thomas. Thomas nodded.
Hazel cheered, and then giggled.
"Guess that settles that." Thomas said with a chuckle.
Sorry about not posting this. Was really busy and didn't have time to finish it.
