Thomas lied on his back, staring up at the clear blue sky of the glade, soaking in the sun's rays. It was peaceful.
Too peaceful.
"Hey Tommy," A familiar voice said, walking up and planting a seat next to him.
"Hey newt, what's up?"
"Well, I-I wanted to ask-ask you a question."
Thomas opened his eyes and glanced at the boy next to him. Tall, lean, and muscular, with supermodel good looks, Thomas could never help but stare.
He had admitted to himself that he was gay, and had something for Newt, but he didn't want to say anything for fear of rejection and losing their friendship.
"What's going on buddy? Something on your mind?"
Newt played with his hands for a minute. "Yeah. Um, well. I think I- I think that I may- may fancy a person."
Thomas sat up and looked at his friend. "Ooh, who is she?"
Newt looked away. "It's uh, it's not a she."
Thomas was dumbfounded. "Really? That's cool. So who is he?"
Newt bit his lip. "Minho."
Thomas felt his jaw drop. "What?"
