24 life

Okay I don't know how to explain this story except that Janson told the gladers that they had only 24 hours left to live until their chips in their heads killed them. Newtmas.

Also, in this story, I'm just focusing on Thomas and Newt. Mostly.

3rd person Thomas:

"What!?!" Thomas shouted, his jaw dropping.

"I said, you only ha-" Janson said, but Minho cut him off.

"We heard what you said shuckface, but why?!?"

"The implants that are in your heads are breaking. And when they break, they're programmed to kill their host." Janson said, no emotion in his voice or face. The gladers looked around, scared, their mouth open.

Can you do anything to stop it??" Aris asked. Janson shook his head.

"Taking them out would kill you." He said.

"Why now, why not in 50 years??" Newt said, his voice wavering. Janson shrugged, then walked outta the room. He stopped at the door and said, "You have 24 hours, make them worth while." And walked out.

"Well shuck me." Minho said, sitting down next to Thomas.

24 hours till death

"Okay, I have an idea." Thomas said, standing up in front of the group

"Well that's dangerous." Gally said, getting comfy in his chair.

"Shut up Gally. So anyway, my idea was to live out the next, like, 80 years of our lives in a span of 24 hours." Thomas said, smiling smugly.

"And how do you suppose we do that??" Newt said, looking at his boyfriend with sad eyes. Thomas smiled.

"Like this." He pulled a small object out of his pocket, and kneeled down in front of Newt.

"What are you doing??" Newt asked.
"Newt you are the love of my life, and they're no way that if rather spend the next 24 hours of my life that with you. Will you marry me??" Thomas said. He showed the 'ring' with was one you would get out of a vending machine. Newt jumped up.

"Are you crazy. Of course I'll marry you!!" Thomas jumped up, put the ring of Newt's finger, then pulled him into a kissed.

"Okay you're married, now what??" Gally said. Thomas pulled away from Newt.

"You make your life worth living."

•••••••time skip 19 hours till death••••••••••••

"Tommy, I'm not gonna adopt a kid just so we can abandon it a few hours after we get it." Newt said. Thomas pouted.

"Cmon, after marriage comes children."

"Can we just pretend??" Thomas thought for a moment, then walked out of the room.

"Where's he going??" Gally asked. Newt shrugged his shoulders.

A few minutes later Thomas came back with a small pink blanket swaddling something.

"Tommy what is that??" Newt said as Thomas handed it to him.

"Our baby." He replied.

Newt moved the blanket back to revel a small infant, a little girl to be exact.

"Tommy, I said I didn't-"

"She doesn't have anybody, and I thought that we could take her for the time being." Thomas said. He walked over to Newt and the baby.
