A Blue Ninja's Daughter

Prologue

Jumping across the rooftops I look at my scanner. "One seems to be up ahead." I say looking around.

Spotting an abandoned warehouse I make my way to it.

The rusty door creaks open as I push it aside and the air is filled with dust and mold.

I cough, looking around I see a bright trail of green mutagen.

"Sweet mother of mutations.." I mutter as I follow it. Knowing another mutant was bound to be on the other end.

As I round the corner my eyes widen at the sight before me. The hall opened into a huge room, a tub of mutagen was in the middle and the Krang stood around it.

"Put the thing known as a human into the stuff which the turtles call mutagen." One says.

"Yes Krang." Another says. They pick up something in a basket and my instincts kick in.

I pull out my Katanas and go to cut them up but they dump the thing in the basket in. "No!" I yell.

A bright glow envelopes the room and I angrily cut all the Krang up before rushing to the tank. Pulling out the thing they dumped I nearly cried.

A baby, they dumped a baby into mutagen. It wasn't human anymore, it looked like me but in a baby form.

The eyes opened and welled with tears as it made a strangled gurgling sound. I rest it on my shoulder and pat it's back trying to get the mutagen out of it's throat. After the sound of coughing and a cry I cradle it back in my arms.

"I'm so sorry they did that to you.." I say looking into it's light pink eyes. It reaches up and gently touches my face before sneezing.

"You must be freezing, let's get you back to the lair." I say pulling my mask off and trying to keep the baby as warm as possible.

As I jumped across the rooftops I looked down at the baby, sleeping peacefully in my arms. I wonder if Master Splinter would let me keep it. I couldn't leave it all alone out here.
