~Mia's POV~

"YOUR JOKING!!" I yell. My Dad nods excitedly and I jump with joy.

"Thank you!!" I say hugging him. He chuckles and hands me my new weapon.

I study the Tanto with fascination. It was a small sword. Then dad hands me a bag. "There's some Kunai in there too. Also known as throwing knives. Don't throw them in here please." He says.

I smile and squeal with joy as all my uncles smile too. Grandpa is clapping and my dad moves out of the way for him.

"Every Ninja needs a mask. So my grand daughter, here is yours." He hands me a light pink mask and I bow to him while holding it in my hands.

"Thanks Sensei." I say winking at him in the bow. He smiles back and I stand up straight turning to my dad with excitement.

"So do I get to go topside now?" I ask grinning. He sighs and nods his head a little bitterly.

I giggle and hug him. "It's okay Dad, I won't go anywhere crazy. I'll always call for you, Pinkie promise."

He hugs me back with a smile and pats my shell.

"So are we going to get out there or what? I'm ready to kick some alien butt." Uncle Raph says punching his fist into his hand.

My dad nods and smiles at me before we all get ready to leave.

Uncle Don grabs some tech and Uncle Mikey grabs a pizza slice before we make our way through the tunnels to a manhole cover.

Once up above we climb across the rooftops. I could barely contain my excitement. This was going to be so fun!

My dad stops the group half way across the rooftop and speaks. "We're gonna be splitting up to cover more ground. You guys are on single patrols and I'm taking Mia with me. Remember to call for help if you need it." He says.

My uncles all nod and rush off in their own directions and I look at my dad smiling.

"Sooooo what are we doing first?" I ask grinning. My feet shuffling against the concrete floor as I followed my dad.

He gestures to another building, "Your going to patrol with me." He says smiling proudly.

I giggle in excitement and jump to the next roof with him.

This was so gonna be fun.

"Daddddd I'm bored!"

My father turns around from sitting on the edge of a roof and gives me a 'really?' Look.

"Can I go explore on my own? Pwease?!" I ask begging him. I was bored out of my mind and did not like waiting on a roof. "I'll have you on speed dial if you let me!" I add on quickly.

"Mia, I don't want you getting hurt. Whenever you go on your own you always get in trouble." He says looking at me.

It was technically true.

The last time involved Dad.

"Uh, no. Remember the last time? YOU were with me." I say putting my hands on my hips.

He sticks his tongue out at me. "That one doesn't count."

"Well I know that even if I do get in trouble you'll come help me." I say going up and hugging him.

I had to sugar coat it. Make it so I could go on my own.

I was getting soo bored.

He struggles with making a decision before sighing and dragging a hand across his face.

"You best have me on speed dial princess," He says looking me in the eyes. "And don't get into fights." He says sternly

I nod and hug him again. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I screech.

He chuckles and gestures for me to go after handing me one of the watches.

"Have fun! And be safe!" He yells.

I had successfully pulled off my first stunt of the night. Now I was in the skate park, riding around on my board while humming a tune. It was nice to be outside in human form for a little while.

As I flip over a rail and land perfectly I hear some whistling and look over to see a boy about my age with Raven hair and brown eyes.

He wore a Blue hoodie with the words 'pizza!" In bold on the front, blue jeans and some black sneakers.

He smiles at me and claps.

"That's pretty impressive for a girl. Don't think I've seen you around before. Name's Carson, yours skater girl?" He asks standing up and leaning on one of the rails to look at me.

I smirk, "I only give my name to those who skate. What moves do you have little boy?"

He grins and sets his board on the ground before pushing off and successfully landing a few jumps. But not before performing a half pipe.

He comes to a stop in front of me and smiles while handing me a small flower.

"Now my lady will you be so kind as to give me your name and number?" He asks with an eyebrow raised.

I laugh lightly and nod, giving him a piece of paper holding my number on it while plucking the flower from hid hand, "The name's Mia, see you later good sir!" I call out to him as I rush off into the night.

Wonder what my uncles and dad would think..
