Chapter 26: First Everything

Sorry peeps!! I'm so sorry. Summer came a long and I had plans to write everyday.

I'm trying to finish a novel I've been working on for years and I totally forgot about my books on Wattpad. Plus I had a bunch of things I had to deal with.

My grandma got sick along with my grandpa and then my aunt was getting married and my other aunt had some family problems she needed help with.

But I'm back now!

I'm really sorry for the late chapter but here it is!

Mia's POV

I sigh as I study myself in the mirror. I had on my grey hoodie, black leggings and brown boots. My Tanto was underneath my hoodie and I had styled my brown hair into a bun.

It had been a few weeks and after many attempts of my dad getting to know Carson they finally enjoyed each others company.

Plus this morning, Carson had asked my dad if it would be alright to take me on a date.

Dad said yes (　^ω^)

I sigh and tuck my t-phone in my purse before checking my makeup and hair one last time.

Opening the door I walk into the living room, fidgeting with my watch.

Uncle Mikey is currently running away from Uncle Raph and my Dad and Donnie are discussing the time limit on the watch.

As Uncle Mike runs past he skids to a stop and grins while hugging me and twirling me in the air. "Dudes! Look at Mia! She's the coolest looking dudette ever!!"

Uncle Raph stops along with my Dad and Uncle Don.

"Woah.." is all they can breathe out.

"Uncle Mike can ya put me down... kinda can't breathe.." I gasp out.

He mumbles something and sets me gently on the ground as my dad walks up to me. "You look beautiful Mia. Remember my rules, no staying out past 10, no holding hands, no going to his house and absolutely no-"

"Absolutely no kissing. I'll be fine dad." I say chuckling and hugging him.

He hugs me back and pats my shoulder as we part ways. "If he does anything to hurt you, let us know," Uncle Don says a little bitterly as they walk me to the exit. "Because I have the portal to the Krang world and I will throw him in there if he hurts you. All of us will."

As if on cue my uncles all nod including my dad.

I roll my eyes. "A-huh, bye guys have fun without me!" I yell over my shoulder as I walk off.

This was going to be so fun!

"So what are we going to do first?" I ask Carson as we walk down Central Park.

"Well I know its not fancy. But I know this hot dog stand a while down the path with REALLY good hotdogs. They even have a pizza themed hotdog. And then I thought we could go to the carnival a few blocks over." He mumbles nervously.

I giggle. "I think this is gonna be great. Thanks for taking me tonight." I say to him.

He smiles, his curly Raven hair framing his face and his deep brown eyes slightly hide behind his pearly smile.

"Glad you could come tonight my lady," he says kissing my hand. I blush slightly and he smirks, "And if I haven't told you already, you look exquisite.."

I blush a deeper shade of red and he chuckles before leading me down the path to the hot dog stand.

Carson was right, the hotdogs we're flipping amazing! Especially the pizza one. Oh my sewer... that was heaven in a bun.

I had to definitely take Uncle Mikey there some time.

But after the delicious hotdog dinner Carson took us to the carnival. And it was so fun, we played a bunch of games and even won some prizes. (He won me a bear.) But now we were in line for the merry go round.

"Wait so can you explain what a Merry go round does again?" I say tucking my hands in my hoodie.

He sighs and runs a hand through his hair, "I still can't believe you've never been on one.. It's where you sit on one of the animals and it spins around with a Merry tune. That's why it's called a Merry go Round." He explains for the fifth time.

"Oh OK.. will I get sick? Is it fast?"

"No and no Mia. Now coke on it's our turn in line."

He grabs my hand and hands a bored looking man our tickets. After punching them he let's us through and Carson drags me to two horses right next to each other.

After hopping on his he looks at me as I struggle to get on mine.

"Haha, need any help?" Carson asks looking down at me.

"No! Watch me, I can do it!" After a minute of trying to get on, Carson hops down, picks me up by my waist and hoists me onto the horse.

I glare at him and he smiles at me before hopping on his, just as the ride starts.

"Hold on Mia!" Carson yells as loud cheery music blasts over speakers.

I grip the pole going through the fake horse neck and I put my foot into two holes on the sides of the horse seat.

He laughs as we whirl around and lots of kids, teens and parents start to cheer and whoop as we go around. Soon I'm laughing as I start to get used to it.

This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
