Chapter 11: It's Somebody's Birthday!

Hey peeps. So I an updating I got a lot more sleep last night so I feel a ton better then yesterday.

Yes I'm sick. I have a cold that has destroyed my body. Yesterday I was shivering, losing my voice and coughing. But now my cough is better, I'm sneezing but I sound Like Batman so it's good. Anyway this one is longer enjoy. :)

Leo's POV

It was five in the morning and I was trying so hard to contain my excitement. My Princess's Birthday was today!

1 year in human and basically 4 in mutant. Hey what can I say? Mutagen enhances you.

My brothers and I were preparing breakfast and setting things up. Mikey was even making a cake.

Last night Raph and Donnie went and gathered the supplies from April and they had come over to help.

Splinter, April, Donnie and Raph were decorating and Mikey, Casey and I were cooking.

I was just about to put some toast in the toaster when Mikey swatted my hand away from it. "Bro, you and the toaster do not mix let me do it." I had him do the toast and went to the eggs and bacon. Occasionally flipping them and moving them around.

Raph comes into the kitchen at 6:30 and sets a box on he counter. "I got them." He says smiling proudly.

I smile back and April comes in with wrapping paper. "Want me to wrap it Leo? That way you can go give her the breakfast." She asks. I nod while picking up the tray. I couldn't stop myself from grinning.

Making my way to my room I quietly open the door and see Mia fast asleep on my bed. Drool hangs from her mouth and Mack dangles from her arm that drapes over the bed. All the while her body tangled in the covers.

I sit on the bed and gently rub her arm. "Mia, Princess wake up."

She stirs a little and then groans rolling over and pulling the covers over her head. "Daddy it's too early.." she mutters. I chuckle and set the tray down.

"Really? Even for your birthday? And Applesauce?" I ask. She jumps up and looks around.

"Applesauce?" She asks. I laugh and gesture to the tray. It had a bowl filled with applesauce and a plate with two eggs, toast and a set of bacon.

She smiles and hugs me. "Thank you Daddy!"

I chuckle and kiss her forehead. "Happy Birthday Princess.."

Mia's POV

Daddy stayed and chatted with me as we ate. And we then played with Mack.

But afterwards he covered my eyes and led me out of the room. We went down the steps and I could tell he was leading me to the living room.

Soon he takes his hands off my eyes and I gasp and jump around with excitement.

"Captain Ryan!!!" I scream.

A huge cardboard figure of Captain Ryan stood there and I loved it.

Grandpa was smiling and all my uncles came in along with April and Casey.

I jump like crazy while squealing. "It's huge! Thank you Daddy!" I say running to him and hugging him. He chuckles.

"They helped too." He says laughing.

I run up and hug everyone. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I say jumping up and down.

Uncle Raphie smiles and go's toward the kitchen for a bit. Coming back with a colorful box.

"Now Mia, this is from All of your Uncles, Grandpa Splinter, April and Casey." Daddy says.

I nod and Uncle Raphie sets it in front of me grinning. I stare at it insure if I should open it in fear of ruining the colors. "Well go on!" Mikey exclaims.

I carefully peel the colorful paper back and set it really to the side. The box has small holes in it and it moves slightly. Curious I open the flaps.

A fluffy dog pops out and starts licking my face.

I giggle and hold it. Looking around at everyone. "It's so cute!! Thank you!!" I say cuddling the fluffy creature.

It licks my face and Uncle Don comes up to me with a collar.

"It's a boy, so what's it's name?" He asks.

I ponder for a bit. "Titch." I say.

Titch licks me again and I giggle.

Leo's POV

"And here's my present." I say sitting down next to her. She excitedly looks at me and Titch wags his tail.

I pull out a small box and open it up presenting a small heart locket with blue gems surrounding it and a diamond in the middle.

Mia looks at it curiously and I turn to her. "Princess, you mean everything to me. Your so funny, kind, respectful and happy. So for your birthday I got you this. Whenever your alone remember that Daddy will always come get you, I'll always be there and I'll always protect you. I love you Mia and I'm not letting you go." I say clipping it around her neck.

She holds it for a bit and looks back to me with tears in her eyes.

She then runs up and hugs me. "I love you too Daddy, thank you.. this is the best birthday ever.." she says.

I hug her back and close my eyes holding her close. "Happy Birthday Princess.."
