Chapter 7: Alone and Afraid

Leo's POV

The Krang had invaded New York. And I couldn't get back to the lair to get Mia. To be honest, I was freaking out.

My breathing was constricted, my heart was racing and the thought of my baby girl seriously injured echoed around my mind.

I couldn't bear seeing her hurt. So as more Krang droids backed us into an Alleyway Donnie took his last smoke bomb out and crashed it to the floor. And while the smoke stood in the air we quickly jumped up to the roofs and hurried to the nearest manhole.

And to top it all off Splinter had lost his mind and we couldn't find him. So now April and Casey went to go get a vehicle with Raph. And Mikey, Donnie and I where going to get Mia.

And I prayed that she was okay.

Mia's POV

Metal beings were in my home and grandpa had ran out with a crazed look in his eyes. So now I was hiding in Uncle Don's lab with Mack under a table.

I was so scared. Daddy hadn't come back. Did he forget me? Was he hurt?

Tears streamed down my cheeks at the thought of me being alone.

There was so much destruction going on outside Uncle Don's lab. And the beings clanked around. They hadn't come in here yet but I had a feeling that they soon would.

As my thought finishes the doors to the lab open and I see two metal feet enter. My eyes widen and my heart races as I back further to the wall while under the table.

I hugged Mack as the feet got closer and closed my eyes.

The table above me is thrown to the other side of the lab and I look up to the metal being. "The one known as experiment 34 will come with Krang." It says.

My tears stream more and I start to sob and cry as he reaches down and picks me up roughly.

"Put me down! Daddy!" I sob as he takes me and throws me to the floor of the living room. The metal beings surround me and I start to scream for help.

"Daddy!!" A sob escapes at the end and I hug Mack for fear of my life. "Please don't leave me! Daddy!!!!!" I scream as one sticks something sharp in my arm and another holds me down.

The tears cloud my vision and Mack falls from my arms as I lose all control of my body.

All I can do is cry as they pick me up.

Leo's POV

My heart breaks as we near the lair and I hear the one thing I feared.

"Please don't leave me! Daddy!!!"

An ear splitting scream echoes through the sewers and I rush into the lair to find my princess in the arms of the Krang.

My heart broke in half as tears welled in my vision. But another feeling rose as well.

Anger.

Pure anger for what they did.

Donnie and Mikey catch up with me and get into battle stances as I take deep breaths. "Don't touch her! Put her down!" I yell.

They stop in their track and turn to face me. "Stop the ones known as the turtles." One says.

I growl and charge for them, cutting them limb by limb with Mikey and Donnie hot on my tail.

Cutting the last one in half I run to Mikey who cradles Mia in his arms.

He hands her to me and I hug her. Her tears are hot and wet against me but I just hold her. My own salty tears falling as well.

"Shhh, it's okay. I'm here Mia, Daddy's here." I say while holding her close to me.

I'm on the ground on my knees holding her as Mikey picks up Mack her goat from the floor.

She sobs into my shoulder and I rub her shell while picking her up and walking with Mikey and Donnie in silence to the surface where Raph, Casey and April would meet us.

She cry's silently and I rub her shell while planting kisses all over her face.

"Oh Princess I'm so so sorry I didn't get there in time." Tears filled my eyes and I squeezed them shut.

The screeching of wheels could be heard and the opening of doors where heard. I barely even registered getting into the car.

"I'm here and I'm never leaving.." I whisper to her as I sat in the car holding her close to me.

And I meant it. I would never leave her side.
