Sorry for the weird update of a chapter y'all have probably already read. In my writing I had put a time skip for this chapter. And when I went to go check and see if it was good I realized the time skip wasn't included.

So I am gonna try republishing this chapter for you guys to have the full chapter :) tell me if you all see it.

Mia's POV

After the incident with grandpa and to metal beings I never wanted to stray too far from Daddy's side.

He didn't seem to mind but one day when I woke up Daddy wasn't there.

The car we had slept in for awhile was warm but nobody was in it.

Then I noticed my surroundings. outside where trees, pine trees as Uncle Don had put them.

There was a house to my left and trees to my right. Had Daddy gone in to check it out? Or did someone capture him?

I started to hyperventilate and carefully opened the car door. I then closed it and made my way to the door of the house. But it was opened before me.

My eyes widened in fear of who was opening it and I jumped into the bushes in an attempt to hide myself.

"Mia? Princess it's okay it's just Daddy." I hear Daddy say. So I open my eyes to see Daddy's blue ones and a small smile on his face.

"Daddy, I'm scared. Where we are?" I ask holding out my hands for him. He picks me up and carried me to the car.

"This is where we will be staying until we can find a way to get grandpa." He says.

I nod and he hands me Mack and my blanket.

Leo's POV

"Let's go inside to our new room, wanna do that with me Mia?" I ask and she nods happily.

Ever since the Krang tried to kidnap her in the lair she didn't want to leave my side. Which I didn't mind it was just sad to see her wary and afraid all the time.

And when I wasn't there she would hide under something until I came back.

It was painful to watch sometimes.

Hopefully while we were here she would slowly become like the old Mia again.

**Time Skip**

Mia had fallen asleep. We were watching Crognard the Barbarian with Mikey and she dozed off. She looked peaceful for once.

So I carried her up to the room we would be staying in and layer her on the bed. Knowing her she would probably wake up so I would have to be there. So I sat in the chair in the corner.

She was peaceful and serene for once. Which I was grateful for. She was so tense and cautious. It made my heart break when she didn't giggle as much as before or run around laughing her head off.

As a father I was worried.

My baby girl was scared stiff and I couldn't do anything about it.

Why couldn't I help her?
