First Date

Alex's POV:

Today is my first date with Maggie and to say that im scared would be an understatement because im terrified that things won't go well. Nothing ever goes well for me, whenever something good happens to me it feels like 5 minutes later something bad happens and im no longer happy. I roll over in bed and look at my phone to see that it is noon. My date isn't till 6 so I just move from my bed to the couch and watch some Netflix. Around 4:30 I hop into the shower then get dressed in black jeans, red and black flannel, black boots and my black leather jacket. I curl my hair and put on minimal makeup then grab my phone, wallet and keys and head to the door just as there is a knock on it. I open the door and I'm faced with a beautiful looking Maggie in camo jeans, black boots, grey Henley and a black leather jacket with her hair down in curls. She smiles at me and I smile back

Ma: Looking good Danvers

Al: (smiles) Thanks, you too Sawyer

Ma: Thanks

Al: So where are we headed (walks out with Maggie)

Ma: Well I thought that we could go bowling then check out the food festival downtown then go walk down by the water

Al: Sounds good to me (smiles)

Ma: (smiles) Good

We make it out of my building and she opens the door of her black and grey marble dodge viper SRT for me then gets into the car herself. She drives us to a bowling alley that is close to downtown and opens the door for me again and I thank her then we walk into the building. We bowl a couple rounds and I beat her in 2 of the 3 that we played and she just smiles at me while taking it like a champ. We got to know each other while we were bowling then we head out to the food festival where we pig out on all kinds of food and just talk to each other.

Ma: So Danvers

Al: Yes

Ma: What was your major?

Al: Bio Engineering and Bio Chemistry, you?

Ma: Criminal Justice

Al: Where are you from?

Ma: Blue Springs Nebraska, you?

Al: Midvale

Ma: Do you have any siblings?

Al: Yeah a younger sister named Kara, do you?

Ma: No, it's just me. What do you do when your not working for the F.B.I.?

Al: I'm either with my sister and her friends or just my sister if not then im usually in a bar playing pool. How about you?

Ma: I'm usually at work till 1am most night so nut much, hence my boss claims that I have no life to get to unlike most of the squad. (laughs)

Al: Wow lol. Where would your dream vacation be?

Ma: (Smiles) Australia or France, you?

Al: Hawaii or Bora Bora

Ma: Is Alex your actual name?

Al: No, It's Alexandra but I hate it

Ma: (smiles) Maggie isn't mine either, it's Margret so we both hate them then

Al: What is your biggest pet peeve?

Ma: Passive aggressive behivour, if you have something to say just say it don't stall. That annoys the crap out of me

Al: Mine is when people spend more time on their phones during an outing with friends then they do with their friends

Ma: I hate that, it's like you wanted to come out with me not your phone

Al: Right

Ma: Coffee or  Tea?

Al: Coffee, you?

Ma: Same

Al: Do your parents still live in the house you grew up in?

Ma: Yeah, do yours?

Al: Yeah, but it's just my mom

Ma: What about your dad?

Al: He died in a plane crash when I was 15, Kara was 13

Ma: Oh, Alex that horrible im sorry

Al: It's ok, I think it just brought Kara and I closer

Ma: good

Al: What are you most passionate about?

Ma: Working as hard as I can to do my job the best I can. I want to make National City a better place while making a difference. How about you?

Al: Same thing as you also wanting to move up in the ranks, maybe have my own unit someday

Ma: Nice, so what do you say we get out of here and take a walk?

Al: I would love that (smiles)

We leave the food festival and walk down to the boardwalk that is down by the water downtown. We continue to talk as we walk along the water. As we continue to walk Maggie out of nowhere grabs ahold of me and backs me up till my back hits the railing then she kisses me and I immediately kiss her back wrapping my arms around her neck. After a few minutes we pull apart and Maggie smiles up at me and I smile back. Maggie pulls me into her side and kisses the top of my head while wrapping her arm around my back and puts her hand in my left back pocket. I wrap my arm around her waist and we continue to walk along the water talking every now and then and smiling at each other.

Al: How old are you Maggie?

Ma: 29, how about you Danvers?

Al: 26, but I'll be 27 in 2 weeks

Ma: Cool

Al: I had a great time tonight

Ma: I'm glad you did. I had a great time too

Al: I hope we could do this again

Ma: Defiantly, let's get you home, shall we?

Al: (smiles) We shall

We walk back to the car then head back to my apartment, once we get there she comes and opens my door for me and I thank her. She walks me to my door. We say our good nights and she turns to leave but I grab her wrist and bring her back to me then pin her to the door with my body and kiss her. Maggie smiles into the kiss and wraps her arms around my waist. Maggie grabs my ass and I moan, she smirks. I ask if she wants to come in and she just kisses me in response. I unlock the door and Maggie picks me up and carry's me to my bedroom where we stay till the morning.
