The long lost twin

There is something that only 4 other people that Alex know about her. Kara doesn't even know about this one. Alex, Eliza, Jeremiah and J'onn have been keeping a secrete since the year before Kara came to live with the Danvers. The secrete is that Alex has a twin sister and no one knows except the danvers family. Alex's twin was with the Danvers till her and Alex were 12 then she went to go live in New York with Eliza's parents to go to boarding school, then college in Boston Massachusetts at Harvard Med. We all know that Alex went to Stanford for Med school and she did complete her degree while training for the D.E.O. Alex does keep in touch with her younger sister over the years, Her sister is only younger than Alex by 2 minuets. Alex's twin sister is named Avery Lexie Danvers and Alex is Alexandra Mae Danvers. Avery also has kept in contact with Eliza over the years and knows about her dad,  she also knows about Kara and can't wait to see t her someday. When Alex met Maggie the first time Avery was her first call, she knew her twin would know what to do hence she is dating Lucy Lane who happened to be stationed in that area that Avery was working at. Avery talked her sister down and gave her some advice, when Maggie said no after Alex kissed her she called Avery on the way home crying her eyes out and Avery was immediately concerned when she heard sobbing on the other end of the call. After she got home and hung up with Avery she hit the bottle hard and that's when Kara showed up and took care of her big sister who needed some help even if she wouldn't ask. Alex came out to Avery after her conversation with Kara about Maggie and Avery was happy to hear that her sister who struggled for so long finally came to terms wit who she was. Avery thinks that she came to that realization sooner because she was away growing up where as Alex was home taking care of another sister and their father was gone. When Alex and Maggie finally got together and spent the night eating pizza, drinking beer and just being with the other person she called Avery really late that night after Maggie left  not that Avery minded, it was her twin after all and told her about what had happened which solidified something that Avery was thinking for a while. She was thinking about finally coming home and moving out to National City to be with her sister and a few hours away from her mom, she knows all about Kara from Alex over the years and really wants to meet her, but most of all she really misses her big sister and her mom. So Avery took her fellowship in a hospital in National City and packed everything up with Lucy who was going back to National City with her to work with Alex. They moved back to National City a few months after Maggie and Alex started dating.

Alex and Maggie were just walking into their favorite coffee shop on their day off and the order and stand to the side. Alex looks around the room to see Lucy coming out of the bathroom and thinks that that is weird, she's supposed to be in Boston with Avery, so she follows Lucy to where she sits at a table with a girl with long brown slightly curly hair, the girl turns to the side and Alex knows exactly who it is but what is is doing here?

Al: NO WAY.......

Ma: What is it babe???

Al: I um..... I uhhhhh

Ma: Seriously Danvers what is it?

Al: My sister is here

Ma: Kara????? (looks around, doesn't see her)

Al: No, not Kara

Ma: What do you mean then babe, I thought you only had 1 sister????

Al: Not exactly, I have a twin sister that only me, mom and dad know about, maybe J'onn too

Ma: So Kara doesn't even know???

Al: No, My twin Avery left for boarding school in New York and was living with moms parents the year before Kara came to live with us, then she went to collage in Boston at Harvard and stayed there, she is also a doctor like me, specializes in Neurosurgery
