Reunion

Alex's POV:

I'm sitting ta the kitchen island going through Mail when my wife of 5 years comes walking through the door. I stumble upon an invitation to my high school 20 year reunion as she warps her arms around me and I make a disapproving noise at the sight of the invitation. Maggie kisses the back of my neck and I smile

Ma: Hey bebe, whats with the noise???

Al: 20 year high school reunion invitation

Ma: Are you going to go?

Al: Wasn't planning on it

Ma: Well I think that you should go and also bring your lovely wife who happens to be the captain of the NCPD, MRS Sergeant Danvers of the drug unit of the F.B.I. Head of the F.B.I Unit

Al: (smiles) You just want me to show you off and our badges

Ma: Maybe. I also heard from a little bird that you were captain of the soccer, basketball and hockey teams, How gay of you Danvers (smiles)

Al: (laughs) Yes I was and we won the state championship all 4 years in every sport

Ma: My wife the jock (smiles)

Al: And my wife the nerd

Ma: Where is the little tyke of ours Lexa at love?

Al: Our 6 1/2 year old is still napping, has been for 2 1/2 hours since I've been home

Ma: Good, I love you

Al: I love you too. Were going to have to being Lexa with us to Midvale, mom can watch her

Ma: Ok, but what about Kara or Lena????

Al: They will be at the reunion too, Kara graduated the same year that I did, but I graduated 5 months early, she also skipped a grade too. I was only a senior from September to January. I graduated at the end January,where Kara finished the whole year.

Ma: Damn Danvers (Smiles)

Al: (smiles) Yeah

Ma: Well Lexa will love to see your mom

Al: Yeah it's been a while hasn't it

Ma: It has

Alex and Maggie just sit on the couch watching the news and just be together and let Lexa sleep. They are leaving for Midvale tomorrow and the reunion is the day after, Kara and Lena are going to meet them there  since Lena has a few meetings in the morning that she can't get out of. About an hour later Maggie hears little feet coming into the living room followed by  scattering of paws. She looks to the doorway to see a mini version of a very sleepy Alex walking through rubbing her head and their 8 year old German Shepard female named Cade. Lexa spots Maggie and smiles really big then runs over to her

Le: MAMA (hugs Maggie)

Ma: (kisses her head) Hey little bug

Le: I missed you

Ma: I missed you too Lex

Le: (looks to Alex) Is Mommy asleep?????

Ma: (smiles down at Alex asleep in her lap) Yeah baby she is, how about you and I go make dinner????

Le: Yeah

Ma: Good, come on

Maggie picks Lexa up after getting out from under Alex and puts Lexa down on the kitchen counter so she can help. When Maggie is almost done with dinner she feels two arms wrap around her waist and she sighs in content and leans back into the embrace knowing that it is her wife.
