Alex's POV:

My name is Alex Danvers and I am the Assistant District Attorney of National City. I've been the ADA for 5 years. My sister Kara is a criminal justice lawyer of 3 years. I'm currently sitting in my office in the courthouse working on a bunch of paperwork when there is a knock on my door. I look up to see our Chief of Police Maggie Sawyer standing in my doorway with a bunch of files. She smiles at me when our eyes meet...

Al: Maggie, to what do I owe your presence in my office??

Ma: (smiles) I just came to drop off the rest of the files for the drug ring case

Al: (smiles) That was nice of you, thank you

Ma: Not a problem

Al: Wass there anything else you needed (smirks) I have a lot of work to do, I'm a very busy woman!!

Ma: I was wondering if you wanted to do lunch at 1?

Al: Sure, I would love to

Ma: Ok, I'll see you later Danvers

Al: Ok, just text me

Ma: Will do

Maggie smiles at me as she walks out the door. I can't help but smile at her as she walks away either. I have known Maggie for 9 1/2 years, she's been the Chief of Police for as long as I've been the ADA, she's also my wife of 7 1/2 years. We have a set of twin girls who are almost 9 and we have son who just turned 5. Our twins are Lexa Rae Danvers and Hunter Rea Danvers. Our sons name is Jermey Spencer Danvers after my dad. I put all of Maggie's files with the rest of our case files then power through my paperwork that is on my desk. 1:00 rolls around fast and 10 minuets to 1 I get a text from my wife informing me that she is waiting outside with her bike. I grab my phone, helmet and switch my blazer for my leather jacket then walk out. I spot Maggie leaning on her red and black duccati that I got her for her wedding present, even though she still has her triumph I think she likes this one more. I walk up to Maggie who grabs by the collar of my jacket and kisses me hard.

Ma: Hi love (smiles)

Al: Hi baby

Ma: I missed you

Al: (laughs) You just saw mea couple hours ago

Ma: I know, but I couldn't touch you

Al: (smiles) Well, you have for an hour and a half so

Ma: Good. I need some wife time.I'm about to ring several detectives necks this week from all the complaints coming in

Al: You need to relax baby. I know your stressed with them, plus this big trial going on

Ma: I know it's just hard

Al: Then just spend some time with me and I'll take care of you tonight. I'll have Kara and Lena watch the kids and I'm yours all night to do as you wish

Ma: (smiles) Your amazing you know that right???

Al: So I've been told many times by my wife

Ma: Good

Al: I love you

Ma: I love you too Al

I kiss Maggie then get on her bike after her, then we head out on a ride to a little dinner in the desert that we love to go to when we go out on a ride and we spend most of our time there. Maggie takes me back to my office where she walks me to my door and kisses me goodbye and heads back to the station. As I sit down at my desk I decide to go through all my paperwork for this case that Maggie and I are working on along with Kara hence she is my second chair on this and I want to make sure everything is in order. When I get partway through it I decide to text Kara about tonight...
