Alex's Proposal

Alex's POV:

Maggie is the love of my life, and I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend. She's an amazing mother to her 3 year old daughter Jamie and I want to spend the rest of my life with them. I've been with Maggie for 2 1/2 just after she had Jamie after an accident. Maggie was being stalked and she got rapped then ended up pregnant but she didn't have the heart to terminate the pregnancy so she likes to view Jamie as a gift and not a curse. Maggie is currently at work and Jamie and I are setting up for the proposal tonight. Jamie comes running into the kitchen and barrels into my legs and hugs them....

Ja: Allllllllllllex?

Al: Yeah Jams?

Ja: Do you love mommy?

Al: Very much baby (smiles)

Ja: When's mommy coming home?

Al: Soon babe soon

Ja: She's gona lobe this

Al: (smiles) good

Maggie comes walking in the door around 5 minuets to 6, to rose petals and candles around the house, lights off and is confused. There's also a acoustic cover of a thousand years playing softly in the background which makes Maggie a little more confused. She walks further into the house to see a candle lit dinner for 3 set up and smiles seeing her favorite on the table which is steak and potatoes. The next thing that catches her eye almost stops her heart. Alex is standing by the table dressed in black pants, heels, blue suit shirt, and a black leather blazer, and in her arms is a similarly dressed Jamie in black pants, convers, t-shirt and black leather jacket. Maggie tears up at the sight and walks over to Alex and kisses her then looks at her for an explanation.

Al: Hey Baby

Ma: (smiles) Hi love, Hi Jams

Ja: Hi mommy

Ma: Babe, what is all this?

Al: Oh nothing (smirks)

Ma: Alexxx?????

Al: You'll see later, let's eat

Ma: Fine

The 3 of us sit down to eat and when we are done Alex leans over to Jamie and whispers into her ear. Jamie gets up from her seat and runs off then comes back and gives Alex something then sits back down again. Alex takes the box and turns to Maggie then stand up in front of Maggie.......

Al: Maggie, I love you for all that you are, all that you have been and all that you are yet to be. You're annoying, your hilarious, you make me yell, you drive me crazy, but you are everything I want. I can't imagine my life without you in it nor do I want to not to be in it, your my heart and the best thing that has ever happened to me. Before I met you, I never realized how empty my life was, having you by my side is what completes me. You taught me the real meaning of love through you and Jamie (smiles) Your the only thing that exists in my world, Everything I do is just to see a smile on yours and Jamie's faces. I love you simply because you are my life, you bring out the best in me. I was so closed off and kept to myself but that was only until I met you, then Jamie broke all the barriers you couldn't. You are the one I wanted to find, to tell you that I need you all my life. I fell in love with you, not for how you look, just for who you are as a person and an amazing mother. I promise to love you forever, every single day of forever as long as you answer my next question with a yes. Margret Ellen Sawyer will you marry me? (gets down on one knee, opens ring box)

Ma: (crying hard) OH MY GOD ALEX........ YES

Al: (smiles) Good

Alex stands up and puts the ring on Maggie's hand then Maggie kisses her. Jamie gets up and wraps her arms around one of Alex's legs and one of Maggie's. Alex bends down and picks Jamie up who then wraps her arms around Alex's neck and Alex smiles. Maggie hugs her 2 girls and kisses Jamie on her head while she laces her hand with Alex's hand that's not holding Jamie. Alex smiles and Maggie and kisses the side of her head thinking about the love of her life, her daughter and all the memories that are to come for the 3 of them. Maggie looks up at Alex and can't stop smiling........

Ma: I love you

Al: (smiles) I love you too babe

Ja: Hey...? what about me? (offended)

Al: (laughs) I love you too Jams

Ma: (laughs)

Ja: (smiles) yay

Ma: I can't believe were getting married

Al: I know, Kara is going to freak

Ma: That she is, so is your mom

Al: Yes, but she loves you and Jamie. She will be ecstatic that her oldest is finally getting married though, that's what she wanted most for me. To find someone that loves me as much if not more than I love them and finally settle down, because we both know we aren't getting any younger (laughs)

Ma: (laughs) Look who's talking. You will be 30 in a few months

Al: Shut up (laughs as she puts Jamie down who then runs off to play)

Ma: Make me (smirks)

Al: Maybe I will

Ma: Maybe I'll let you

Al: (smirks as she backs Maggie into a wall) You better Mrs. Danvers

Ma: (smiles as she bites her lip) I like the sound of that

Al: Me too

Ma: Take me to bed Mrs. Danvers

Al: With pleasure, but we have to Jams down first

Ma: True dat

Maggie and Alex walk into Jamie's room expecting to see her playing on the floor with some toy but what they see when they walk in nearly melts their hearts. Jamie is knocked out in the middle of her bed on top of the covers dressed in her SUPERGIRL pajamas that have a cape attached to the shirt. Alex smiles at the scene and walks in with Maggie following. Alex lightly picks Jamie up and Maggie pulls the covers down then Alex puts Jamie back into bed and she snuggles further into her bed as Maggie puts the covers over her. Both Alex and Maggie kiss Jamie on the forehead and say good night then walk out the door shutting it behind them after turning the nightlight on. Alex and Maggie walk down the hall to their room and close the door behind them, the next thing Alex knows is that she's slammed into the door by a very hungry looking Maggie who says "god you look good in that suit" and Alex moans. Maggie kisses Alex then down her jaw then her neck and leaves her mark followed by saying "Mine, and as amazing as this suit is, it would look better on the floor". Alex moans again as Maggie beings to get rid of the suit and anything in her way of destroying her fiancé tonight.
