First Fight

Maggie's POV:

Alex and I have been together since I was 16 and her 17, so 8 almost 9 years and we have been married for 3 1/2 of those. She's the love of my life but she just walked out on me throwing her wedding rings at me on the way out. We got into a really bad fight and its your first fight since we got married. Alex thinks I've been sneaking around on her which isn't the case, yes she has pictures of my car in someones driveway at 2am when I'm not home with her but that's my little sisters house. She's closer to the station than Alex but that's not why I have been there recently., I was there because I just food out that I am pregnant and I was freaking out. Alex doesn't know, I was going to tell her tonight but then we got into this fight and she walked out. I just sit and stare at the rings in my hand not noticing I'm crying then there is a knock on my door, I look at the clock and see that it's been 3 1/2 hours since Alex left. I get up hoping it's Alex at the door then open it but I'm faced with a very confused looking Kara. I giver her a small smile.

Ma: Hey Kara (looks at the floor)

Ka: Hi Maggie, can I come in?

Ma: Of course little Danvers, What's up?

Ka: Well, I just left Alex...

Ma: OH.............

Ka: Maggie your not cheating are you?

Ma: God no, i would never

Ka: Then who's house have you been at?

Ma: It's my little sisters house Kara

Ka: Oh, does Alex know this?

Ma: No, she wouldn't give me the chance to talk, she just got so mad she packed a bag, threw her rigs at me then walked out the door ands lamed it after her

Ka: I'm sorry Maggie

Ma: Thanks

Ka: Do you want me to talk to her, see if she will let you explain

Ma: Please Kara. I'm not going to let 9 years go down the toilet for nothing, especially not now (looks down)

Ka: What do you mean especially not now?

Ma: (smiles) I'm pregnant Kara. I'm having Alex's kid

Ka: OH MY GOD

Ma: Yeah

Ka: We defiantly have to fix this

Ma: Yes we do

Ka: I can't believe I'm going to be an Aunt

Ma: Me either Kara

Ka: I'm going to go talk to Alex, see if I can get her to come talk to you

Ma: Ok, I appreciate it Kara

Ka: Your having my niece or nephew Maggie that's a big reason we have to fix this

Ma: I know, thank you for understanding Kara

Ka: Always, your my sister Maggie

Ma: I'm glad you think of me that way Kara

Ka: (smiles) Me too

Kara walks out of Alex and Maggie's house after hugging Maggie and telling her that she is going to do all that she can to fix this. Kara then flies off to her appartment and through her window to see  Alex watching TV on the couch. She walks over to her sister and sits down next to her, Alex looks over and smiles at her

Al: Where have you been???

Ka: I went to talk to Maggie

Al: Oh.... Why?

Ka: To get here side of the story that your too stubborn to listen to or at least let her explain herself

Al: What would I let her explain, she's cheating

Ka: No, she's not

Al: How do you know?

Ka: She told me, and she has several good reasons not to

Al: Which are?

Ka: It's not my place Alex, you know this needs to come from her, go talk to your WIFE and FIX this. You can't run when things get hard Alex, it's not healthy

Al: I know

Ka: Then GO HOME

Al:Ok, thank you Kara

Ka: Not a problem

Al: I love you

Ka: I love you too Al

Alex hugs her sister then grabs her bag and heads back to her house and opes the door to see Maggie curls up on the couch hugging her knees and crying her eyes out while staring at the coffee table. Alex looks to the table to see her rings sitting there and her heart breaks, Maggie is crying over her and Maggie wouldn't do that if she was cheating on Alex. How stupid can you get Alex, she loves you to death and you just ripped her heart out of her chest out of nowhere. Alex quietly makes her way over to Maggie and sits on the table in front of her wife after grabbing her rings then she puts a hand on Maggie's knee. Maggie's head shoots up and sees Alex and she starts crying all over again.

Ma: (shocked) Alex?

Al: (smiles) Yeah babe it's me

Ma: You came back

Al: I did, I can't run from this Maggie, I know that now and I'm sorry I yelled and I'm sorry I left, I'm sorry I threw my rings at you and I'm sorry I didn't let you explain

Ma: It's ok Al. Your here now that's all that matters

Al: It's not OK Maggie but I'm glad you forgive me, but if your not cheating then who's house is that?

Ma: I 'll always forgive you Alex (Alex smiles) It's my little sisters house Alex. I was at work late those nights and she is closer to the station then we are, I also needed to talk to her about something that was on my mind because I got scared

Al: Oh ok that makes sense, I'm sorry I snapped

Ma: It's ok Alex, now please put your rings back on

Al: Of course babe, what was on your mind that scared you Maggie?

Ma: Well remember that conversation that we had a couple weeks ago about your special friend downstairs?

Al : Yeah we decided to stop using condoms...... Wait... are you?????

Ma: (smiles) Yeah I'm pregnant babe. I found out a couple days ago and was planning on telling you this morning but we got into it and you left

Al: (smiles) OH MY GOD Maggie that's amazing

Ma: Really??? (shy and nervous)

Al: Yes babe really

Ma: I love you

Al: I love you too, and I'm sorry

Maggie leans over to kiss Alex but Alex pushes her back down on the couch and kisses her hard. Alex lays down on top of Maggie with her head on Maggie's shoulder and her left hand on Maggie's stomach. 9 1/2 months later Maggie gives birth to tow girls that have broken hair and brown eyes. the oldest of the two is named Devon Eliza Danvers and the youngest of the two is named Hayley Kara Danvers. Alex and Maggie couldn't get any happier than they were then in the moment that the lights of their life came into the world kicking and screaming in only a Danvers fashion.
