Tear Drops - Extended

My soul dripped through my eyes

It took some time for me to realize

That I was breaking down,

I wore a frown,

A creek runs down my cheeks

I hurriedly hide my face,

I'm such a disgrace.

I'm an ocean of emotions.

Hiding from myself is how I spend my years,

These raindrops you see are actually my tears.

As a sharp cold pain pierces my skin,

It's become apparent that my demons will win.

Blood drips from my cracked lips,

My wrist is stained the color of rose hips.

I hide myself from watchful eyes

As my light slowly dims and dies.

Please don't leave me, please don't go,

Please don't leave me all alone.
