Not Right For You

Chapter 3

Sakura

I was not angry at him. At least not entirely. That other guy was at fault too. But I was hella pissed. I missed my first lecture and I have no idea where I am going. I saw a guy leaning on the wall outside a room, typing on his mobile. 

He looked good. Like really good. Hot good.

I ask him where room 302 is and he points the way. He looks up after that and his stare holds mine.

I take in his appearance. He had raven hair and black eyes. His lips were slightly puckered as he was frowning before he looked at me. I shifted on my legs as I grew more uncomfortable by his piercing stare.

I decide to make a run for it and mutter a small thank you. I take long, quick steps towards the direction he pointed and to my relief he was not following me like a creep.

I enter the classroom and look around for empty seats. I sigh as I walk to the back of the class and take a seat. I think of texting Naruto but act against it and instead check my notifications.

Let that guilt build up before I make my next move.

I look up to see a blonde enter the room. She was fiddling with her mobile and muttering profanities. An amused smile plays on my lips but I keep to myself.

The girl takes a seat beside me and stares at me for a while.

I look at her back and give a small smile. She smiles back and turns towards me.

"Hey! I am Ino." She holds out her hand and I shake it.

"Sakura." 

"So Sakura, are you new here? I mean to Konoha."

I nod. "Yeah. I just got here the day before. What about you?"

"I have lived here all my life. I know most of the people here. A lot of them used to go with me to high school. I am actually waiting for my friend. I don't know where the hell she is."

Just then a girl enters and looks around. Her eyes land on Ino and her already smiling face turns even broader.

She approaches her and takes a seat in front of me. She flashes me a warm smile before turning to Ino.

"Where the hell were you Hinata?!" She whisper yells

"I was just...I got caught up in something." She looks down nervously avoiding her gaze.

I look at Ino and she looks back at me and smirks. 

A boy

"Caught up in someone's arms. Maybe that someone is Sasuke...?" Ino says with a smirk and I tense at the name. 

Sasuke as in Sasuke Uchiha?

"Yes." Ino says looking at me.

I said that out loud, huh.

"Why would she be caught up in his arms?" I ask the next question, curious to know.

"Why wouldn't she be? They are together." Ino says as if it is the obvious thing.

Done. Nah just kidding. Did you expect this? Sasuhina. I never liked it and I never got why people shipped it. Just because Narusaku was a thing? It never made sense!! Narusaku makes more sense than that.... but hell no! Naruhina 4 life! My precious, precious OTP. Comment your thoughts.

Okay. Stopping my rant.... And now back to the story.

My eyes widened as I looked at the shy girl who was looking away from us.
