(y/n) and Sun were walking, ready to be on their way to Route 2.
"Careful out here, you two. Haven't you seen the way the grass shakes on Route 2?" An old man warned the two.
"We'll be fine. We have our Pokemon," Sun told the old man. The two begin walking through Route 2.
"So, Sun... What Pokemon did you get?" (y/n) asked her brother.
"I'll keep that a secret for a while," Sun winked.
"Then can you tell me how dad is?"
"...."
"Sun?" (y/n) looked at Sun.
"I'll....Keep that a secret for a while, too..." Sun muttered.
"But-" (y/n) was cut off when a Delibird grabbed her bag and tugged, as if they were asking for her to follow.
"Guess we don't have much of a choice... It doesn't seem like it's going to let go any time soon," Sun said. (y/n) shrugged and followed the Delibird. They saw two Team Skull grunts cornering an old man.
"You got a lame bunch of berries... Now Team Skull's your adversaries! Takin' berries off your hands is just the start of our plans, yo!" One grunt said.
"...Sun?" (y/n) covered her mouth with her hand.
"Yes?"
"Why are they speaking funny?" She was trying to fight back from laughing, letting a few giggles escape.
"Because they're idiots... How should I know? But we should probably stop them," Sun said. The two grunts turned around and saw the two twins.
"And what are you looking at, huh? Huh? Huh? HUH? Yo, hold up, you're-!" One grunt spoke taking a few steps forward.
"You got a bone to pick with us, homie?" The other grunt asked, walking a few steps forward.
"Nah, you two are just numskulls skullking around," (y/n) grinned. Sun groaned and facepalmed.
"You and Cap may have beat us at the Marina, but you won't be so lucky if we get serious, yo!" The grunt said.
"I appreciate your concerns, children. But these Team Skull punks do nothing but talk big and act small. You carry on with your island challenge. Don't give them a moment's notice," The old man told Sun and (y/n).
"Yo, we're standing right here! At least act a little bit afraid or something, y'know!" One grunt turned at the old man.
"Yo, you tryin' to run away? We're gonna hafta take your Pokemon along with the berries!" The other grunt walked closer towards (y/n). The pulled (y/n) close to him and glared at the grunt.
"If you get close-even lay a finger- to my sister, I'll make sure you grunts will see other things besides black and stars!" Sun growled. (y/n) looked at her brother, confused.
"Yo, check out how hardheaded Team Skull Grunts can be!" The grunt pulled out a Pokeball. Sun pulled (y/n) even closer to him. She couldn't see a thing, but could hear Pokemon cries and moves being shouted. When (y/n) could see again, the two grunts were running off. The old man walked up towards Sun.
"Ho! You and that-"
"Shh!"
"Hm?"
"Please don't say what my Pokemon is," Sun said.
"Er, okay. You and that Pokemon of yours did quite the number on him!" The old man smiled. "Allow me to thank you for driving off those Team Skull numskulls." The old man handed Sun an Oran berry.
"Thanks," Sun smiled. The two continued on through Route 2 until they got up to a Pokemon Center. Hau was standing out in front of it.
"Hey Hau!" (y/n) smiled, running up to Hau.
"Howzit, (y/n)! Your Pokemon doing all right?" Hau smiled.
"I think," (y/n) looked at her Rowlet that was sleeping on her shoulder. "Ya know, most owl-like Pokemon usually sleep during the day, but Rowlet seems to sleep at night..."
"It must be getting that late, huh?" Sun chuckled, walking up next to (y/n).
"Let's stop by the PMC!" Hau said.
"Yeah! Can we spend the night there?" (y/n) asked.
"Of course! What else are they used for?" Hau responded.
"Healing Pokemon?" Sun said.
"Besides that!" Hau said. The three went into the Pokemon Center and gave their Pokemon to Nurse Joy for her to heal.
"This place looks so nice inside!" (y/n) gasped and looked around.
"Didn't you go into the Hau'oli City Pokemon Center? It looks pretty much the same," Sun chuckled.
"Oh! I almost forgot! I have something pretty amazing to share with you, (y/n). You lucky thing!" Hau handed (y/n) three revives.
"Revives! Thank you so much, Hau!" (y/n) hugged Hau. Hau laughed.
"We should probably get some sleep. We need to be in top condition for our trial," Sun yawned.
"Yeah, we should," (y/n) went over towards the counter and took her Pokemon back. She let her Rowlet back out of his ball.
"Does your Rowlet not like Pokeballs or something?" Sun asked.
"He just seems happier out with me," (y/n) answered, picking up her Rowlet and planting a few kisses on his face. Her Rowlet cooed happily.
"Go get ready for bed," Sun ordered, taking his Pokemon from the counter. (y/n) nodded.
"Alright! Time for sleep."
