My Alola Journey (Hau x F!Reader)

"Do you have Pokemon? Let's battle!" Hau grinned at the strange blonde man. Lillie tried to stay hidden behind Sun.

"Hmph, whatever," the kid rolled his eyes and summoned a Pokemon. Hau called out his Pokemon and the two battled. Hau lost.

"Ha ha ha! Man, I lost again!" Hau laughed.

"Are you even taking this seriously?" The guy glared.

"I am! So seriously! I'm seriously enjoying it!" Hau smiled. (y/n) giggled.

"...Enjoying it? You can enjoy Pokemon battling when you put everything you have into it... which clearly you haven't," the strange guy sighed.

"(y/n)! What did you think of the battle?" Hau turned to (y/n).

"You're (y/n)?" the guy looked at (y/n).

"No, I'm not. I have no idea what you're talking about," (y/n) shook her head.

"Hmm. So you have enough sense to be wary. Not bad... I'm Gladion. I battle for my partner, Null, to make it strong. Though most of our time gets used up doing small jobs for Team Skull," Gladion said.

"You should quit," (y/n) told him.

"No," Gladion replied.

"Why not?"

"Battle me. I won't take no for an answer," Gladion said.

"You can't try to change the subject! But I will battle!" (y/n) sent out her pichu. She took down Gladion's zubat and then called pichu back. She managed to beat Gladion.

Hmph... It's not like me to slip up like that. I've got to keep fighting stronger opponents. Looks like I'm still not ready.." Gladion growled.

"You could come with us!" (y/n) offered.

"Forget it," Gladion turned around. 

"But-"

"I said FORGET IT," Gladion walked away, shaking his head. He could have sworn he caught a glimpse of Lillie somewhere.

"What a strange man," (y/n) sighed. Her pichu started to glow.

'Zrrt! Looks like pichu is evolving!'

"Really!?" (y/n) smiled as her pichu evolved into a pikachu.

"Awesome! Now your Pokemon isn't a weak pichu anymore!" Sun smiled.

"Yeah!....wait..." (y/n) looked at her brother, who was now chuckling.

"We should get moving," Sun cleared his throat.

"Yeah... but, Lillie?" (y/n) looked at Lillie.

"Yes?" Lillie answered.

"Why were you trying to hide from Gladion?" (y/n) tilted her head in confusion. 

"I'm.....shy..?" Lillie sweated.

"....Okay...I'll take that....for NOW, " (y/n) shrugged and the four continued their journey.

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. Was busy and all, but now I have time and can continue this fic once again!
