Chapter: Under the Mahi-Mahi Red Moon trance

Ella's POV

It was a typical morning here in Inkopolis. Me and Lizer woke and started to prepare for our trip to Mahi-Mahi resort. She was taking me there for the Red Moon viewing. It's when the moon turns red every 4 years in mid summer.

We're just taking a little break from work at our Restaurant The GoldenBass. Our manager Greg was holding down the fort while we lounge around at the Resort, we will also keep an eye out just in case things don't go so well.

Now you're probably wondering how we got our own restaurant? Well Our neighbor Mr.Azur had one of Lizer meal one time and fell in love with it and asked if she wanted to work at his restaurant at Mahi Mahi resort which wasn't doing so well in his opinion and he was getting to old to manage it. So over time Lizer started to work, learning and adding her own cooking styles into the menu ( by asking Azur's permission first) She was able to save the restaurant and bring even more customers for him.

He was so proud and happy for us that he literally gave us his restaurant when he retired. Now he's happily enjoying his free time with his family.

Lizer is head chef of the restaurant now that she finished her cooking degree and I who didn't want to be apart from my lovely girlfriend decided to help her in managing the building. I help fiancé and design how the restaurant looks, since it's still summer time the restaurant has a summer theme to it and it's usually pretty packed during this time but the best time is during winter time.

Lizer was so exited about this vacation but this past week she's been feeling weird...well...weirder than usual. Sure she still had some minor behavior problems with Lupus. But this one takes the cake.

"Lizer is your tips turning redder?" I raised a brow staring at her tentacles today as we were packing. She was folding some spare clothes into her bag when she looked up at me.

"Is it?" She asked confused then ran a hand on to her tentacles seeing that her tip are a brighter red." Wow you're right I wonder what's going on with me now?" She wondered.

"Maybe, before we go, we should stop by Beatrice and do a check up on you?" I suggested

She shrugged and nodded." Sure it wouldn't hurt. The moon view doesn't start until tomorrow night. We got plenty of time." She said and resumed packing.

After we finished packing and have some delicious breakfast that Lizer made (I love my girlfriend's cooking!) We headed to OctoValley.

"Hi B! " Lizer ran inside and hugged Beatrice.

"Hello Kitten, what brings you to Octovalley today?" She greeted and petted Lizer's head.

Lizer swatted her hand from her head frowning."Beatrice I told you to stop calling me that!" She scolded.

I laughed at the two. I've always wonder why Beatrice decided to help cure Lizer. She always keeps her reasons to herself when I ask her.

"Alright, alright, I'll stop." She chuckled," So what brings you gals here today?"

"I was hoping you could run a check up on Lizer." I said gesturing to said inkling.
