Chapter 24: Wave 1

Eliza's POV (yay first time!)

Earlier ~

I waved goodbye sadly as mommy and dad left. Some say it's weird to call my mom that, but I don't care she's my dad I can smell it. My parents don't know it yet but I have a good sense of smell, I've asked Tsubaki if she can smell as well as I do but she said no.

"Well Eliza it's just you and me." My uncle said getting my attention from the big double doors of his manor.  "don't be sad Kiddo your moms will be back before you know!" He said trying to cheer me up but fail, I don't like being away from my parents.

"How about this, I have a recording session in an hour and guess who's gonna be there?" My head snapped up immediately.

"Is it Pearl & Marina?!" I exclaimed, uncle Jason nodded. Holy Zapfish! I get to meet my idols. I got to tell Tsubaki this! "Uncle Jason can I use the phone!" I ask barely holding my excitement. "Sure Kiddo, do you know the number you want to call?" He ask while going to get it, I nodded having remember Tsubaki's dad number by heart.

He came back and handed me the house phone. I immediately inserted the numbers.

"Yello this is Tokoji!" Tsubaki's dad goofily answered after a few rings.

"Hi uncle Tokoji! It's me Eliza can I talk to Big sis Tsubaki!" I asked him eagerly

"Sure thing, I'll go get her." He said and after a few minutes Tsubaki's voice came up and we talked until my uncle said it was time to go. Already!? I guess I really love talking with big sis.

When we arrived at the studio I immediately ran inside hearing the protest of uncle Jason and the security squid, but I know they won't be mad at me.

I happily ran in searching for the singing duo. My ears picked up laughter at the end of the hall, so went there and there they were Pearl & Marina chatting with each other.

I squealed running at them. "Oh gosh it's Pear and Marina!" I jumped and hugged them as best as I can." I'm your biggest fan!" I giggled.

"Woah there who's the shrimp?" Pearl said lifting me up by the back of my red shirt.

"Hey there little one." Marina said nicely." How did a cute squid like you get in here?" I squealed as they talked to me.

"I got in here thanks to my uncle and my name is Eliza not shrimp." I said doing a small growl at Pearl.

"Eliza there you are!" My uncle said running in." How many times do I have to tell you not to run off like that, your moms will kill me if something where to happen to you!" He sighed taking me away from Pearl.

"So this your kid Boss?" Pearl asks

"No it's my little sisters kid. I'm looking after her while they're away for 'business' " He said which was weird mom and mommy went to rescue lost squids, just like the Squidlanders the best group of Heroes ever!

"Aw that's real sweet of you to do that for her Boss." Said Marina.

"Yeah yeah let's just get this recording over with I wanna do some turfing today." Pearl said impatient.

Just as We were about to leave the room I saw Aunty Kai walking by, so I snuck away when no one was paying attention to me.

"Aunty Kai!" I yelled running towards her. She noticed me and immediately knelt down opening her arms out. I ran and hugged her.

"Eliza! How are you kiddo!" She said lifting me up.

"I'm fine Auntie!" I say giggling as she rubs my head.
