Chapter 31: Sneaky Octo canyon.

Lizer's POV

I quietly got out of bed and went to the bathroom, quickly doing my daily routine as silently as I could. Why? Very simple I'm sneaking out of my own house.

Let me explain why I'm doing this. It all started yesterday night...

"Alright Marie thanks for the info." I said and hung up my phone. Apparently the Octolings managed to steal the zapfishes and now we would have to retrieve them again.

"What did she say?" Ella asks me while climbed on top of me. She just finished getting ready for bed and Eliza was already tucked away into her bed asleep.

I wrapped my arms around her waist. "That Octolings managed to get the zapfishes and now I have to retrieve them all." I said sighing into her shoulder," But don't worry I'll deal with it." Before kissing it.

I felt her stiffen, " What do you mean you'll deal with it?" She said glaring at me.

I rolled my eyes." It's exactly what it means. I. Will. Deal. With. It. " I stated

"And what if you run into a certain silver tipped Octoling?" She sneered.

I flipped us around making me lay on top of her. "I'll deal with it." I repeated again.

Flip.

"No Lizer I'm not going to let you deal with this by yourself."

"And I'm not going to put you in danger."

Flip

"And I'm not going to let you go into danger by yourself!"

Flip.

"Ella!" I growled

"Lizer." She said back mimicking me not wavering on her decision. "Either I go with you or you don't."

I groaned." What about Eliza! We can't just leave her here. " I said using the 'can't leave our daughter alone ' tactic.

"We'll let her stay with our parents." She said." I'm sure they would love to spend time with her for a few days."

"More like spoil her." I muttered but Ella obviously heard me and giggles.

"They just love her Lizer. The same as we do." She said while caressing my face with a beautiful smile on her face.

"You right. She the most adorable lovable daughter ever." I smiled as well nuzzling my nose against hers.

"Are we done talking about this then." She says referring to the going to retrieve the zapfishes.

I nodded and sighed really not wanting her to come with me. But I got an idea and smirked running my hand on her side and lifting her leg up bringing it closer to me. "Yes honey, but let me just bask in you tonight."

She rolled her eyes again but giggles. "We just had an argument and now you think we can have sex?" She asks looking incredulously at me.

"What sex after an argument is always hot and rough." I snickered while wiggling my eyebrows.

"That's what got us Eliza in the first place." She muttered and I blushed after that.

"Hey, I said I was sorry." I said for about the thousand times.

"Fine!"She laughs but agreed and pulled me impossibly closer to her as our body dance under the sheets....
