A Birthday Squidmas to remember

Lizer's POV

I woke up to a beautiful morning. I felt a smile coming on my face as I remembered what today is.The twenty four of December...My birthday.

I've always hated my birthday because everyone is either too busy or it's overshadowed by the busiest time of the year Squidmas, but now I've got a lot of family and friends that I know that remembered my birthday.

I rolled on top of giggling in excitement and kissing her neck." Sweetheart wake up~." I cooed kissing her neck. She moaned moving her neck giving me more room. I smiled more and decided to leave a few hickies here and there.

"Lizer~" she moaned pushing me away." Let me sleep." She mumbled turning her back to me.

"Isn't there something you want to say to me." I purred at her. She lazily opened one of her eyes and gave me a sleepy kiss before falling asleep. I pouted.

Hmm..maybe Eliza will wish me a happy birthday?

"Morning Eliza!" I yelled entering into her room." Wanna go to work with me today?" I asked

She jumped up and gave me a glare." No mom I'm too tired and I promised Tsubaki that we'll hangout today." She mumbled

"Well is there something you want to tell me before I head out?" I asked grinning to myself.

She grumbled going back under her cover and said something about have a nice day at work. I sighed at my two lazy girls. Maybe at work I'll get some birthday vibe from my loyal employees. I got up and got ready for work. I wore my favorite Squidmark LS shirt followed by thermal pants with my parka since it's winter now and last night snowed. I got everything ready and went to work.

"Morning boss, you sure are in a happy mood today." Jasmine said and I nodded.

"Yup it's a happy day for all of us." I said cheerfully

She laughed agreeing with me." Yup it's Squidmas time and everyone excited about it!"

"No sweaters are the best gift to give." My server Crimson yelled over by an empty table. We were still preparing for today, our restaurant was always pack in the holidays.

"Do you have ink in your ears! Socks is where it's at!" Jamie argued back glaring at him.

"Woah, woah guys what's with all the fuss." I said stopping them before they decide to kill each other.

"Don't worry boss I was to telling Jamie here that I rather give someone a sweater then a dumb socks."

"Dumb socks? Al least it better than some ugly sweater that gonna be in the closet as soon as you get them" he shot back with a smirk.

"You are so gonna get it."

"No you're gonna get it!"

"Guys chill what's this about anyways?" I asked.

"Oh there just arguing about the next splatfest picks tomorrow." Wendy said coming from the office.

I frowned. "Oh and nothing else?" I asked hoping that they would wish me a happy birthday.

"No but happy-" Wendy started but Greg interrupted her. "Yo Boss it's time to open up." He said and we all saw a rush of hungry squids coming in so any conversation about my birthday disappeared.
