Chapter 14: Home Sweet Home

Ella POV

To say how my dad took the story of how I got pregnant with Lizer's egg was...well horrible. He was so furious that he ended up chasing her around for twenty minutes straight.

"Richard stop it!" My mom yelled at my dad.

"Get back here Von Fang! I'm going to throttle you!" My dad yelled furiously.

"Sir calm down aren't you happy for your daughter having a child?" Lizer said back running away from my dad.

"Not when it's yours you freak!!" He screamed almost grabbing her by the neck.

"Dad!" I whined running after them.

At one point when my dad almost had her, Lizer jumped over a mailbox and he bashed his head  into making a dent.

I hissed." Ooh...that's got to hurt."

Lizer looked below while sitting on the blue mailbox." Anything for me mister Richard." She joked laughing with a smirk.

I threw a glare at her. She crossed he arms," What?! He tried to strangle me. Forgive for making a joke out of this situation!"

I sighed so much for my dad liking Lizer, well at least my mom does her.

Fast forward to Sunday, we were heading back to Inkopolis. After saying goodbye to our parents and promises to call we boarded the train.

"Phew..." Lizer sighed loudly." Glad that whole ordeal is over." She slouched in her seat.

"Oh it wasn't so bad Lizer at least we mend the relationship you had with my parents."

"If you call chasing and threatening to strangle me mending then sure."
She remarked sarcastically.

I playfully pushed her and she laughed placing her arm around my shoulder." But you're right sweetie and hey if he tries again at the wedding I'll have to sock him." She gestured her fist into her palm.

I rolled my eyes," Fine, just don't put him in the hospital please."

She kissed my lips." For you love ,anything."

After our train ride we arrived back to Inkopolis. I took a breath inhaling the city air. "Ah it's good to be home." I said as Lizer got our bags and me holding our egg.

"Yup I'd say let's head home and get ready for tomorrow. We need to check work and see how it's been while we're gone."

"Don't worry Lizer I'm sure Greg and Jasmin held the fort down." I assured her

A taxi ride later, we were back home.

"Hey Kai!" Lizer greeted the purple inkling. 

"Welcome back L." She said," how was the visit?" She asked taking a bag from Lizer.

"It was...interesting." She replied as I headed inside leaving them to talk.

I gently placed the egg in the crib we bought for it not to long ago. I looked around checking if everything was ok and not out of place. We asked Kai before we left to house sit for us, I hope she didn't do anything bad in our house. I trust Kai but with her girlfriend Mina I don't know what they're capable of.

I checked on them outside and they were still talking. I saw Lizer tell Kai something and she laughed, she was probably telling her about the things that happened with my parents

Then Lizer told her something that made Kai frown and I wondered what was it but I couldn't since I was inside. With a quick hug Lizer bid Kai farewell and came back in the house.
