Chapter 11 : The Hunter

Ella's POV

"What idea?" My mom asked raising an eyebrow.

"How about we go to the carnival?" I suggest, it was always my favorite place for family fun and I bet Lizer would love spending it with me and my parents.

"I don't know about this Ella...I mean with your father–" my mom sounded nervous.

"Don't worry about mom I'll take care of dad, besides this is a great way for you to apologize to Lizer and get to know her again. She super fresh to be around." I said smiling already because I can see my mom coming around and really liking the idea of Lizer and I.

I just hope my dad will stop being stubborn and start to forgive and accept that Lizer and I are going to get married.

Lizer's POV

When I finished my walk across town I went to the cafe where Ella and her mom was. I was not expecting to run into her dad being there, great I sighed sitting next to Ella and greeting her. "Hey sweetie " I said kissing her cheek, I wasn't going to kiss her in front of her parents, although seeing her dad glare at me did make me smirk.

"Hi Lizer. How was your walk?" She asked oblivious to her father glaring at me. I just smiled ignoring him," it was ok I guess...I visited that park we used play in when we were young." I told her, she smiled and leaned on my shoulder.

"Really it's still there?" She said in disbelief I nodded. That was the same park I befriended her and Tanly.

"Yup I even stopped by my favorite candy store and bought a few things." I showed her a bag full of sweets and Ella frowned.

"Lizer did you eat breakfast at all today?" she asked glaring at me.

Oh no.

I gulped shaking my head," Um no" she sighed and grabbed me by the ear, I flinched whining.

"Lizer I'm confiscating them." She said sternly." And I'm ordering you something to eat other than sweets!"

"But Ella I–" I began but she pulled my ear more. "No butts!" She said ending it at that. I muttered an ok bummed out that my sweets will be taken away.

Ella lets go of my now sore ear so she could go and order something for me. When she left her mother started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked glaring at her and blushing a bit.

"I'm sorry dear. I just find it hard to believe that both of you aren't married yet." She said with a laugh and her husband almost choked on his coffee.

"They better not be or I'm filling they're divorce right now!" Said her husband. I glared at him but stayed calm I wouldn't want to upset Ella by kicking her fathers ass.

"Don't worry sir, after I prepose to Ella, I wanted to ask both of you for your blessing." I informed them ." Hence why we're here."

He frowns "I told you Von Fang I'll will not give my now only child to the likes of you." Ella's dad said stubbornly. I thought his wife would agree with him but I was mistaken.

"Richard that's enough, you have no say in what our little Ellie wants." Said his wife which left me baffled. Wow.

"I'm sorry Lizer." She giving me and apologetic look. "Of course we'll give you our blessing you make our little girl happy.We never should've blamed you for Tanly could you please find it in your heart to forgive us." She gave me a face that reminded me where Ella got her looks from.

I sighed, like mother like daughter "I understand and forgive you Ms.Reef, you lost your son of course you'd be mad at me. If I could go back in time I would!" I said sadly. " But you can't change what already happened."
