Chapter 25: Wave 2

Unknown POV

"Guys what are we gonna do!" I said panicking. We've been stuck here for the past two days now.

"I don't know!" One of my coworkers said sounding frustrated as he paced around.

"Could you guys not scream or do you want whatever that thing was to attack us again!" Hissed another one. "Let's just leave and get help since no one is coming for us!" She continued pointing towards the injured orange male inkling.

We were fine collecting power and gold eggs for Mr Grizz, when all of a sudden some weird thing jumped in and attacked us! We've managed to escape it but we're stuck in one of the abandoned cabins at the Lost Outposts(an unopened stage). And now we can't leave since one of us emergency return antenna was broken and his arm was injured too making him unable to shoot and we need all the squid power we can get.

"Guys we can't leave him it's not right plus if we do he'll be defenseless." The pacing male reasoned and I nodded agreeing with him.

"Guys let's just wait for help. One more day won't hurt." I said and sighed if we ever get out of here alive, I'm totally calling HR after this!

Lizer POV

I gently opened my eyes and looked around. Ella was leaning her head against my shoulder still asleep while Eliza was snuggled on my lap I had both my arms around them.

I checked the time and we were resting for about two hours and it looks like the Drizzlers went away, so that means we can get moving on finding those testers. I gently nuzzled Ella to get her to wake up." Come on honey it's time to wake up." She stirred awake and let out a cute yawn.

Rubbing her eyes she stood up and asked." Hmm...Are the Drizzlers gone?" And I nodded my head getting up myself holding Eliza in my arms. "Good we should checkout the rest of the places around here, what was it called again....ah Marooner's bay!

I looked at her with surprise. " Wow how do you know all this?" I asked in her short knowledge of the places here and when I fought that SteelHead.

She not so hard smacked my head with a small book and said." I pays to read the employee handbook sweetie!" She then kissed me and moved back walking sexily outside. I shivered at my own thoughts.
No no no Lizer! This is not the time and place for that! I shook my head and followed her out on the boat.

"Ella what did I say about winding me up." I said warningly glaring at her. She smirked at me and planted another kiss on me.

"Oh don't be mad Lizer it's fun teasing you." She said making me look into her beautiful eyes that I can't resist. And she was right all these years together it's still fun teasing her too.

"Well you're right on that, but still now is not the time." I countered letting Ella place Eliza on my back. I let my Wereinkling tail come out and coil it around her so she wouldn't fall.

"Ok fine." She said giving up. "We should wake her up soon." Ella commented but I shook my head no.

"Nah let her sleep I don't have the heart to wake this cutie up." I said petting her spot which was the two little spikes above her forehead, she purred and wrapped her arms around me.

"Oh so I'm not cute anymore since you woke me up." Ella pouted crossing her arms. I sighed rolling my eyes. Again with her jealousy.
