20. Confused

Chorong's POV

Class is over and I was in charge of cleaning again.

I'll start working as a part time  cashier at Tiffany Eonnie's convenience store tomorrow.

Walking along the school grounds, I saw guys practicing in our school gym. I peeped to see who they were.

Glad it's the guys of M and not Grease's side kicks.

They saw me passing so I bowed. I was about to leave when...

"You're Park Chorong, right?" the Canadian-Chinese guy asked. His name is Henry, I am sure of it. Well, they became quite famous after that practice game.

But it's surprising. How did they know my name?

I point at myself asking.

"Who else? Is there anyone around you?" Another guy uttered, and I am sure again that his name is Baekhyun. His prominent jawline shouldn't be forgotten.

I bowed. "Annyeonghaseyo!"

"Come! Watch us!" Baekhyun invited.

I shook my head, but he and that cute looking tall guy named Zelo pulled me to enter the gym and let me seat in the bench beside their stuff.

"It's good to have a girl watching. We get more inspired." Henry said and gave wink.

Uhmmm.. is this guy really like this? Full of confidence? Well, he is from the States

"Hyung, stop it." Zelo tapped his shoulders.

Minseok went beside Henry. "You know what, it's my first time seeing Tao giving attention to a girl. He never even smiles to any girl except you. You are really something."

"Yah!" There goes Kyungsoo, the smallest one. He threw the ball towards Henry. "Let's go back to practice!"

Then Minseok went in front of me and gave me a salute before running back to the center of the court.

I stood up and bowed.

"Seriously? You're leaving?" Henry said that in English. Wow! I envy the accent.

I nodded. "Mianhaeyo. I need to study for a test tomorrow."

"Maybe that's why Tao's late." Zelo reckoned.

"Eyyyyy!" All of them protested.

So they don't think Tao studies? I suddenly became curious if he really does study or not. But his grades are pretty good though. He reads a lot as well, but I haven't seen him copy notes and read our lectures.

"Won't you wait for Tao?" Kyungsoo asked.

I shooky head. "Thanks for treating me well. I will watch you guys next time for sure. That's a promise!" I even raised my right hand.

"Give me a pinky swear." Baekhyun took my little finger for a pinky swear. "Promise to cheer for us in the real game next week."

"Ne!" I said brightly and bowed again. "See you next time."

I walked home. This will be the last time that I'll walk home as well. I'll be using the bus as soon as I start working.

The scene in our classroom this afternoon flashed back to my mind.

Jinjja! I can't believe Tao just ignored Namjoo. He helped me when I was bullied by Kris in the cafeteria before, why didn't he help her?

Hmm. Yeah, he said he helped me because it was too noisy, but this time was also too noisy and they bullied her in front of him.
