"Wait." I look at Kris who just sat down our table. "Why are you here again?"

He smiled "For you." and gave me his milk. "Did you forget you allowed me here?"

I raised my eyebrow. "When?"

He opened his phone and showed me our exchange of messages yesterday. "See?"

"But I didn't agree."

"But you don't have a choice."

"Yah!"

Yet he started eating and didn't mind me.

Everyone around the canteen is staring at us again. This is another mess!

ASDFGHJKL! What will happen to me later again? What kind of hell will I experience again?

"Eat now." He said.

I didn't move.

"What are you waiting for? You don't have an appetite?" He prepared a spoonful of food from my tray and fed it to me. "Aaaah."

My eyes rolled side by side. People's eyes are all on me waiting for my response with disgust in their faces. Don't I really deserve him? Am I some kind of a smelly garbage that shouldn't be near him? Eotteokhae?

I got my spoon away from him and ate the food myself.

He smirked. "Good."

"Kris. Do you really want to bully me?" I whispered to him with an angry tone. Of course, I'm just acting.

I'm not angry at him. I'm not annoyed or irritated.

I like this feeling. Him, with me eating lunch, especially when my friends are too busy with their club activities and I don't have someone to be with.

But..

"Kris. Do you really want to bully me?" I repeated since he ignored the question the first time I asked him.

He stopped eating and looked around. Everyone changed their gazes, pretending to be uninterested.

He stood up. I thought he's going to change seats, but I was shocked when he suddenly shouted.

"Yah! Yorobeundeul! (Everyone!)"

Everyone stopped on what they are doing and face him, even the canteen personnel.

"I don't care if you hate her. But know this.."

"Stop it, Kris. What are you doing?" I whispered calling him trying to stop him from this embarrassment.

But I was taken aback when he said with eyes on me, "I like her. I like Park Chorong."

Then facing everyone he continued, "And whoever touches her, passes through me first. No one is allowed to touch my girl. Arasseo?!"

Insane! How could he declare that in front of everyone? Jinjja!

My face has really turned hot and red. I think I am petrified. I can't even move my finger.

Before seating he shouted again, "I didn't hear an answer. ARASSEO?!"

"NE." everyone said yes in the cafeteria.

He sat down, smirking. "If somebody would dare touch you, tell me and they'll be dead." and started eating again.

This guy... I don't know what kind of power he has among the students, but I know for sure, what he did today will make things worse for me.

Yes, that public declaration from Kris was something I have dreamt of... but..

"Sorry.. Kris.." I stood up to leave.

"Ya!" He held my arm. "Where are you going? You didn't even eat yet."

I sighed. Why are things between us so complicated?

Not looking at him, I answered, "I'm not eating lunch anymore. I forgot I have to finish a project."

That reason was just made up.

He let my arm free, and I left the area.
