Kris's POV

I wasn't asleep. I was pretending. I know she feels awkward with me, I can feel that.

But the same as her, I think the old Kris who doesn't know how to express what he feels is back. I wanna stop her from going out, I wanna hold her hand while I rest, I wanna ask her to just stay by my side.. but.. why can't I even utter a word?

I heard her light steps toward my bed. She stopped. But seconds passed, I still didn't hear a thing from her.

What is she doing?

I wanted to open my eyes to answer my question but..

I felt her fingers on my cheeks.

She covered her face and about to walk out.

Chorong's POV

Kris was hugging me as we fell on the floor. Him on top of me.

There was silence as we unintentionally had a few-second eye contact. So this scene really happens in real life, huh?

Awkward. I pushed him up.

"Aw! Aaargh!" He screamed in pain.

I slap myself mentally. How could I forget he has a sprain? "Oppa.. Mianhae. Mianhae.." I helped him settle in a comfortable position. "Kwenchanha?"

But this guy, after falling from that bed, and even feeling the pain twice after I pushed him, is still smiling widely like a crazy dog.

"Ya! Aren't you hurt?! Stop smiling and get back to your senses! Look at your ankle. Do you want that to go severe?! How will you go back in playing basketball if you're not taking this injury seriously?! Huh? Are you a kid---"

"HAHAHAHAHA."

Hitting his shoulder, "YA!!! OPPA!!! HAIST! You're really just gonna laugh there?! YA!! You---"

But he stopped laughing and reached for my hair, pinning it at the back of my ear.

That silenced me, or more like petrified me.
