Chorong's POV

"Nuguya?! (Who is that?!)"

I heard Kris with a warning voice. Maybe I startled him when I entered his hospital room without turning the lights on, and not saying a word.

I went near him, "Sssh..." with my index finger on my mouth.

"Chorong?" He asked, amazed.

I nodded feeling embarrassed. Who won't feel embarrassed at this situation. I spent all this time avoiding him, and now I tresspassed in his room.

"What are you doing here?"

"I... I..." But I can't find myself reasoning out. Embarrassment plus awkwardness equals chickening out.

"Okay. Bye." I quickly turned my back.

But before I could take a step, "You don't have to say it." He said.

"What?" I asked without looking at him.

"The reason why you're here."

I have no clue. How do I respond with his statement. Shall I face him again and stay? Or shall I continue walking forward and go?

Staring at the door, I think I'm frozen. My mind went blank.

But really.. I don't wanna go out.

Kris, please stop me... please...

At least if he makes a reason like pulling my arm or pretending to be in pain, I could say that I was just forced to stay.

Yet few seconds passed and all I hear is the deafening silence between us.

I really need your witt right now, Kris. C'mon!

I looked at him using my peripheral view.

Mwoya? He's fast asleep. Huh! I made effort to come here and you just slept? Jinjja!

But well.. that's a good thing. It's better than him being awake.

He is asleep. That means.. I could stay here for a while, be with him, without being ashamed.

Me and my stupid pride. I deserve to be hit at the back of my head right now.

I took the chair at the bedside, and sat.

Kris looks like an angel while sleeping. I chuckled seeing that he is smiling while he sleeps. And with that smile drawn on his face, he looks so serene and happy. Like a boy who is dreaming of the world of toys and robots and candies and the outer space, etc. For a guy who is always busy going around the school with friends, sports and his arrogant slash conceited way of self expression, I have never seen him so peaceful like this.

He looks like Snow White the guy version. Okay wait, maybe Prince Charming who ate the apple instead of Snow White or Prince Philipp who slept for a hundred years waiting for Princess Aurora to come and wake him.

Without me realizing, I reached for his face carressing his cheeks.

His skin's so soft like a baby's. This guy takes really good care of his skin.

Those red...

Sexy lips...

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Argh!" I screamed in surprise.

HE IS AWAKE.

Smirking.

Looking at me.

And with did I just do?

"Did you just kiss me?"
