Kris's POV

Reminiscing...

Standing there looking at her back as she walked away, Nan babo-ya? (am I stupid?) Why can't I think of a way for her to believe me? Why am I like this? Why can't I do more?! I should do more, right?! I should! Mwoya? Kris! Haist!!!! You're so dumb!

Lying on my bed, I have been changing positions just to get to sleep, but I can't. I kept thinking about her, and what to do next. Why is this so hard?!

I heard a knock on my door. It's noona.

"Yah! Kris!" she entered lively jumping on my bed and hitting my butt.

I have no energy to nag at her for doing that as usual. Besides, she never stopped doing that since we were kids no matter how much I complain. It's a waste of effort.

"Hey, what's with that low energy?" she asked me removing the pillow out of my face.

Still, I'm too lazy to get the pillow back. I didn't even open my eyes.

"Problems with Chorong?"

That made me immediately open my eyes.

My sister smiled. "So I was right. From the start, you already like her.Geurae?"

I did not answer. I remember how she didn't stop teasing me with Chorong when she heard about her from the guys especially when Luhan said that we look good together. Huh! I admit, they added wood to the fire.

But I didn't mention anything to noona. I was too embarrassed to confess about it to her. And I know she would eventually know about it.

"She won't be coming to the store for a few days."

"Mwo? She didn't come today as well?" I thought she went directly to the store after our talk. If you can consider that as a talk.

Noona nodded. She sighed. "Don't worry about it too much. You might be one of the reasons why she won't come, but.. just give her time."

I know she needed the job. I am one of the cause why she has to have the job, and now I am still the cause why she has to stop coming. Congratulations Kris! Good job! You've done so many good things to her! I sarcastically told my self. I really wanna receive a beating right now.

Being in love.. I never thought it would be this hard.

Noona held my hand all of a sudden, and gave me a serious consoling face  "For that someone you give your heart to, to love you back.. it would take a miracle."

I never thought I would receive a love advice from my noona.

"Noona.." I faced her. "How can I wish for a miracle when I don't even believe in it?"

She smiled. "You have to make the miracle happen. Fighting!" She patted my back and left.
