Tania could even feel the upcoming tension between Aryn and Amanda, and as the boss, she was not mentally, let alone physically prepared.
From across the workplace, when Tania was assigning Amanda her work, Aryn shot both of them a certain type of look. It was a glare, nonetheless, but also a warning look for Tania to distance herself away from the new employee. Not like Tania could do that, she was working, not flirting like Aryn (in her fury of envy, clearly) would assume in her head. Tania was stubborn as hell, she then moved onto showing Amanda around. "So, this will be your desk. It used to be Aryn's." Tania clearly spoke the last bit loud enough for Aryn to "overhear", which made Aryn smirk to herself. Her old desk. Aryn briefly looked up at Tania, who shot her a look as well with a smirk, then they looked away. "So, if you need anything, I'll be right over there, or you can ask Aryn." Tania left Amanda to her work as she strolled back to her own desk. "You didn't even have to say anything, and I saw the jealousy in your eyes, Aryn." Tania said, with the same smirk present. Aryn responded by mocking Tania, "'Jealousy in your eyes'." She grumbled. "Oh c'mon, babe, you know I'm yours." Tania said, with a loving smile instead. "It's actually kinda cute you got jealous." "Shut up, Tan." Aryn couldn't help but smile too. "Do your work." "Yes ma'am."
After nonstop work on her several posts on the website, Aryn decided to take a break, she made her way to the break room. Nick, who seemed to always stay in the break room more and more these days, greeted her. "Hey, Aryn, how's it going?" He said, sipping his coffee. "Fine, really." She said. "Are you sure?" He asked, and Aryn nodded. "How do you feel about the new coworker?" He tried to ask gently, not to send her in a fury of potential anger and jealousy. Nobody, including Tania, could actually withstand the fury of the pastel-haired girl. She was both Italian and Irish, she wasn't afraid to kick anyone's ass.
